As the water supply and sewerage managers in Albania have already started their planning for the year 2021, it is the right time for them to plan their training budget for staff competence development and utility performance improving activities.
During 2020, SHUKALB successfully delivered 13 (thirteen) trainings with the participation of over 20 Water Utilities in Albania. These trainings include SHUKALB’s own training courses, as well capacity development products and programs as part of SHUKALB’s partnerships with Danube Learning Partnership (D-LeaP), and the Regional Capacity Development Network (RCDN).
As part of a regular practice, even for this year SHUKALB has distributed its annual Training Needs Assessment (TNA) Survey to all water utilities in order to collect their feedback on the training needs for 2021. Upon the results of the TNA, SHUKALB will plan accordingly a tailored offer of trainings and capacity development programs which cover and benefit the staff working on all key functional areas of providing water supply and sewerage services as well as responds to the emergent needs of Utilities toward improving their performance. The Capacity Development Programs Calendar for 2021, will be published during this month, and will be available and updated regularly on the SHUKALB’s website.
