SHUKALB Organizes Orientation of Teachers in the Framework of the World Water Monitoring Day Program, 2018

Më 2 maj, SHUKALB organizoi një sesion orientues për të gjithë mësuesit e biologjisë dhe kimisë të shkollave që marrin pjesë në programin Dita Botërore e Monitorimit të Ujit 2018.  Objektivi i takimit ishte njohja e mësuesve me materialet mësimore, udhëzimet, skedulën e programit , modulet e mësimdhënies, si dhe procedurat për trajtimin dhe përdorimin e test kits-eve.

Takimi u organizua dhe u drejtua nga Znj. Olta Ceca, Menaxhere e Programeve të SHUKALB.  Pas marrjes së udhëzimeve të programit, mësuesve iu dorëzuan materialet e nevojshme për monitorimin e parametrave të ujit si pH, turbiditeti, temperatura dhe oksigjeni i tretur në ujë, të gjitha pjesët e Test Kit.

Aktualisht mësuesit së bashku me nxënësit e tyre janë duke monitoruar burimet e tyre lokale të ujit në një mënyrë të thjeshtë, me një frekuencë të caktuar dhe po i regjistrojnë rezultatet e tyre në fleta të veçanta.  Të dhënat e mbledhura nga këto teste të thjeshta (pH, temperatura, turbiditeti, DO) janë duke u ngarkuar nga nxënësit në faqen e internetit të programit www.worldwatermonitoringday.org.

Programi targeton nxënësit e klasave të 8-ta të shkollave fillore në Tiranë, Durrës, Krujë, Rrogozhinë, Kavajë, Elbasan, Vlorë, Sarandë, Berat, Kuçovë, Përmet, Fier, Tepelenë, Korçë, Ersekë,  Pogradec, Peqin, Gramsh, Lezhë, Shkodër, Fushë-Arrëz, Bulqizë, Burrel, Pukë, Kukës.

Qëllimi i programit është edukimi dhe angazhimi i nxënësve në mbrojtjen e burimeve ujore, dhe është zhvilluar dhe ofruar nga SHUKALB në bashkëpunim me Ministrinë e Arsimit, Sportit dhe Rinisë, dhe i financuar nga Ambasada Amerikane në Shqipëri.

On 2^nd of  May, SHUKALB organized an orientation session for all the biology-chemistry teachers of the schools involved in the World Water Monitoring Day Program 2018.  The objective of the meeting was to familiarize the teachers with the learning materials, instructions, the program schedule, learning modules, as well as the procedures for handling and using the test kits.

The meeting was organized and led by Ms. Olta Ceca, Manager of Programs of SHUKALB.  After receiving the program instructions, the teachers were provided with the materials needed for monitoring water parameters such as pH, turbidity, temperature and oxygen dissolved in water, all part of the Test Kit.

Currently the teachers together with their students are monitoring their local water bodies in a simple way, with a specific frequency and they are recording their results in specific sheets.  The data collected from these simple tests (pH, temperature, turbidity, DO) are then being uploaded by the students at the program’s website www.worldwatermonitoringday.org.

The program targets students of eighth grade in elementary schools of Tirane, Durres, Kruje, Rrogozhine, Kavaje, Elbasan, Vlore, Sarande, Berat, Kucove, Permet, Fier, Tepelene, Korce, Erseke, Pogradec, Peqin, Gramsh, Lezhe, Shkoder, Fushe-Arrez, Bulqize, Burrel, Puke, Kukes.

The programs goal is to educate and engage students in the protection of the water resources, and is developed and offered by SHUKALB in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth of Albania, and funded by the US Embassy in Albania.[:]
