SHUKALB Meets with Representatives of the Project “Regional Capacity Development Network for Water and Sanitation in the South Eastern Europe”

Më 20 dhjetor, SHUKALB u takua me një delegacion nga Projekti Rrjeti Rajonal i Zhvillimit të Kapaciteteve për Shërbimet e Furnizimit me Ujë dhe Kanalizimeve” (RCDN). RCDN është një projekt që po implementohet nga Fondi i Hapur Rajonal i GIZ (ORF), dhe është duke u financuar nga Qeveritë e Zvicrës dhe Gjermanisë.  Projekti ka për qëllim krijimin e një Rrjeti për Zhvillimin e Kapaciteteve Rajonale të vetëqëndrueshme dhe SHUKALB është një nga përfituesit e projektit së bashku me shoqata të tjera të ujit dhe shoqatat e qeverisjes vendore në rajon.  Të pranishëm në takim ishin gjithashtu përfaqësuesit e GIZ në Shqipëri dhe Ambasada e Zvicrës në Shqipëri.

Qëllimi kryesor i takimit ishte që ekipi i RCDN-së të mësonte më tepër rreth punës së SHUKALB në zhvillimin dhe dhënien e trajnimeve, duke përfshirë gjithashtu përpjekjet e vazhdueshme në zhvillimin e programit të certifikimit bazuar në testim për shoqëritë ujësjellës kanalizime në Shqipëri.  Në përputhje me këtë, takimi u fokusua në diskutimin e fushave të mbështetjes nga RCDN në punën aktuale të SHUKALB, si dhe aktivitetet e mundshme specifike që SHUKALB do të ndërmarrë në kuadër të projektit RCDN.[:en]

On 20^th of December, SHUKALB met with a delegation from the Project “Regional Capacity Development Network for Water and Sanitation in the South Eastern Europe” (RCDN).  RCDN is a project that is being implemented by the GIZ-Open Regional Fund (ORF), and it is being financed jointly by the Swiss and German Governments.  The project aims at establishing a Self-Sustaining Regional Capacity Development Network, and SHUKALB is one of the beneficiaries of the project together with other water associations and associations of local government in the region.  Also present to the meeting were representatives of GIZ in Albania, and the Embassy of Switzerland in Albania.

The main purpose of the meeting was for the RCDN team to learn more about SHUKALB’s work in developing and delivering training, including also the ongoing efforts in developing the test-based certification program for the water and wastewater utilities in Albania.  In line with that, the meeting was focused on discussing areas of support from RCDN to SHUKALB’s ongoing work, as well as potential specific activities for SHUKALB to undertake within the RCDN Project.[:]
