Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Supporting the Development of Albania’s Water Sector

[:sq]Nën koordinimin e Zëvendës Sekretarit të Shtetit për Zhvillimin e Eksporteve të Ministrisë së Punëve të Jashtme dhe Tregtisë së Hungarisë në vitin 2017 u bë lancimi i të ashtuquajturit Institucioni Hungarez për Zhvillimin e Sektorit të Ujit. Për shkak të mbështetjes së Institucionit, disa kompani Hungareze, (Konsorciumi Hungarezi i Teknologjise se Ujit, Shoqata Hungareze e Ujësjellës Kanalizime, Duna-Kut Ltd, Aquacust Ltd, Hungarian Eurowater Ltd, FTSZV Ltd, Hungarian Water Engineering Ltd) që vijnë nga sektori i menaxhimit të ujit u është dhënë mundësia për t’u prezantuar në Konferencën e Përbashkët Ballkanike në Tiranë këtë vit. Përveç sektorit kombëtar Hungarez, vizitorët mund të takohen edhe me përfaqësuesit e Ujësjellësit të Budapestit dhe Grupit Hungarez të Ujit gjatë panairit.

Kompanite Hungareze kane treguar interes te larte ne zhvillimin e sektorit Shqiptar te ujit gjate viteve te fundit duke ofruar asistence teknike dhe transferimin e teknologjive si per ujesjelles ashtu edhe per kompani private. Si nje shembull i mire per te demonstruar bashkepunimin e shkelqyer midis dy paleve mund te permendim bashkepunimin e suksesshem midis Ujesjellesit te Budapestit (BWW) dhe partnerit te saj Ujesjelles Kanalizime Tirane (UKT). Gjithashtu, Shoqata Hungareze e Ujesjelles Kanalizime dhe Shoqata Shqiptare e Ujesjelles Kanalizime ne 2017 firmosen nje Memorandum Mirekuptimi.

Brenda kuadrit te puneve te perbashketa, Konsorciumi Hungarez i Teknologjise se Ujit implementoi ne Ujesjelles Kanalizime Shkoder sistemin WebScada. Ky projekt, gjithashtu, u mbeshtet nga Institucioni Hungarez i Zhvillimit te Ujit.

Vete Institucioni mbeshtet iniciativa te cilat formojne bazen per projekte me te medha infrastrukturore, si psh pergatitja e studimeve te fizibilitetit, formulimi i dokumentave strategjike, bashke-financimi i projekteve pilot, trajnimi i eksperteve te huaj ne sektorin e ujit ne Hungari, tarifat e lidhura me pjesmarrje ne ekspozita dhe konferenca, dhe perpilimi dhe perkthimi i librave dhe studimeve ne lidhje me ujin.

Angazhimi i Hungarise është te terheqe vemendjen ne problemet globale dhe te theksoje: uji nuk është vetem aseti me vendimtar natyror por gjithashtu nje mundesues dhe nder-bashkues. Uji mund te jete nje burim bashkepunimi dhe zhvillimi per te gjithe shtetet qe jane te angazhuar per zhvillim te qendrueshem. Nga kjo pikepamje, nen mbikqyrjen e Presidentit te Hungarise, Janos Ader, mbas organizimeve te suksesshme ne vitin 2013 dhe 2016, ne datat 15-17 Tetor, 2019 Hungaria do te organizoje Samitin e Ujit te Budapestit.

 [:en]Under the coordination of the Deputy State Secretary for Export Development of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary the so-called Hungarian Water Sector Development Facility was launched in 2017. Due to the support of the Facility several Hungarian companies (Hungarian Water Technology Consortium, Hungarian Water Utility Association, Duna-Kút Ltd, Aquacust Ltd, Hungarian Eurowater Ltd, FTSZV Ltd, Hungarian Water Engineering Ltd) coming from the water management sector were given the opportunity to introduce themselves at the Balkans Joint Conference in Tirana this year. Besides the Hungarian national booth, visitors can also meet representatives of the Budapest Waterworks and the Hungarian Water Cluster during the fair.

Hungarian companies have shown high interest in the development of the Albanian water sector during the recent years, through by offering technical assistance as well as technology transfer for both water utilities and private companies. As a good example for the excellent cooperation between the two sides, Budapest Waterworks has been successfully collaborating with its partner, Tirana Water Utility. Also, the Hungarian Water Utility Association and the Water Supply and Sewerage Association of Albania signed a Memorandum of Understanding in 2017.

Within the framework of the common work, the Hungarian Water Technology Consortium implemented a webSCADA System for the water utility of the City of Shkodra. This project was also supported by the Hungarian Water Sector Development Facility.

The Facility itself supports initiatives that form the basis of larger infrastructural projects, such as the creation of feasibility studies, the formulation of strategic documents, co-financed pilot projects, the education of foreign water sector experts in Hungary, fees associated with the participation in expositions and conferences, and the compilation and translation of studies and books pertaining to water.

Hungary’s commitment is to call attention to global problems and to highlight; water is not only the most critical natural asset but also an enabler and an inter-connector. Water can be a source of cooperation and development for all countries that are committed to sustainable development. In that view, after 2013 and 2016 Hungary will host the Budapest Water Summit again between 15-17, October 2019, under the patronage of János Áder, the President of Hungary.[:]
