Konferenca dhe Ekspozita e 8-të e Përbashkët Ballkanike, “Uji dhe Ndryshimet Klimatike“, që do të mbahet si një aktivitet virtual në datat 4-6 nëntor 2020, është vetëm disa orë larg.  Konferenca do të transmetohet drejtpërdrejt online përmes platformës Zoom.

Programi i Konferencës

Programi i Konferencës do të kombinojë sesione plenare, si dhe sesione teknike, duke mbuluar një numër të gjerë dhe shumëdimensional të temave nga politike në teknike, si dhe çështje të menaxhimit të sektorit të ujit.

Dita e parë e Programit Teknik do të fillojë duke trajtuar temën kryesore të Konferencës, “Uji dhe Ndryshimet Klimatike”.  Sesioni Plenar 1. Uji dhe ndryshimet klimatike – Veprimet dhe zgjidhjet, synon të mbulojë çështjet e ndikimit të ndryshimit të klimës ndaj ujit, së bashku me strategjitë e reduktimit dhe adaptimit të kryera nga institucionet kryesore në panel.

Dy Sesionet e tjera Plenare do të trajtojnë tema si:

• Reagimi ndaj krizës dhe qëndrueshmëria – Përgjigjja e sektorit të ujit ndaj pandemisë Covid-19
• Projektet e infrasktrukturës së grumbullimit dhe trajtimit të ujit të ndotur në fokus

Sesionet teknike do të sjellin një diskutim të gjerë dhe shumë dimensional të temave, që mbulojnë çështjet politike, si dhe problemet e menaxhimit të sektorit të ujit.  Ju mund të gjeni Programin final të Konferencës në këtë link.

Ekspozita Teknike

Këtë vit Ekspozita është organizuar përmes një platforme virtuale ku kompanitë ekspozuese do të prezantojnë produktet dhe shërbimet e tyre përmes videove, imazheve, broshurave dhe informacioneve të tjera të rëndësishme. Platforma e ekspozitës është e aksesueshme në faqen e internetit të Konferencës dhe do të promovohet tek të gjithë pjesëmarrësit online gjatë gjithë kohëzgjatjes së Konferencës. Për më tepër, kompanitë ekspozuese dhe pjesëmarrësit e konferencës do të kenë mundësinë të ndërveprojnë dhe të bisedojnë drejtpërdrejt me njëri-tjetrin.

The 8^th Balkans Joint Conference and Exhibition 2020, “Water and Climate Change”, which will be organized as a virtual event on 4-6 November 2020, is just hours away. The Conference will be live-streamed and broadcasted online to participants via Zoom platform.

The Organizing and Program Committees are pleased to share below some of the highlights of the event.

High Level Decision Makers and Professionals

Ornela Çuçi, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Tourism and Environment, Albania will deliver a congratulatory address during the Conference Official Opening Ceremony on 4 November 2020.

Blerim Kuci, Minister, Ministry of Economy and Environment, Kosova will deliver a congratulatory address during the Conference Official Opening Ceremony on 4 November 2020.

Distinguished Guests

Raanan Adin, Chairman and President, Israel Water Association (IsWA), Israel, will deliver the keynote address on the opening of Conference sessions on 5 November 2020.

Conference Program

The Conference Program will combine plenary sessions, as well as technical sessions, covering a broad and multi-dimensional number of topics from policy to technical, as well as management issues of the water sector.

The first day of the Technical Program will start by addressing the main theme of the Conference, “Water and Climate Change”.  The Plenary Session 1: Water and Climate Change – Actions and Solutions, aims to cover issues of the impact of climate change on water, along with mitigation and adaptation strategies carried out by the key institutions in the panel.

The other two Plenary Sessions will address topics of:

• Crisis Response and Resilience – Water Sector’s Response to Covid-19 Pandemic
• Wastewater Collection and Treatment – Infrastructure Projects in Focus

Technical sessions will bring a broad and multi-dimensional discussion of topics, covering from policy to technical, as well as management issues of the water sector. You may find the final Conference Program at this link.

Technical Exhibit

This year the Exhibition is organized through a virtual platform where the exhibiting companies will present their products and services through pre-recorded videos, images, brochures and other relevant information. The exhibition platform is accessible at the event website under the Exhibition Virtual Platform session and will be promoted to all virtual participants throughout the duration of the Conference. In addition, the Exhibiting companies and the Conference participants will have the opportunity to interact and chat directly with each other.
