SHUKALB Organizes Training on Basic Maintenance Management System in Framework of the “Asset Management in Water Supply and Sewerage Utilities of Albania” Project

On 23 and 24 September 2021, SHUKALB organized the Basic Training on Maintenance Management System for the water utilities that are participating in the second level of the “Asset Management in Water Supply and Sewerage Utilities of Albania” Project.

The workshop was attended by representative from 7 water utilities in Albania such as, Lushnje, Kukes, Kamez, Kruje, Maliq, Pogradec and Gjirokaster. The training was delivered by Belina Belortaja, GIS Data Analysis Consultant and Elton Hasanaj, EDAMS System Engineer, both experts of the project.

During the two days of the training the participants were introduced to the EDAMS system in Maintenance Management and were able to practice and work with it. They created and completed a work order and log a customer complaint. Furthermore, a brief explanation on the data gathering and completion was made by the trainers, in order for the water utilities to start with the data collection and work with the program on this phase of the project.

The participants had the possibility to address questions and discuss on particular issues related to the asset management topics within the utility, and share experiences with their peers.[:]
