SHUKALB and SHUKOS Organize Successfully the Basic Training on the Water Audit

On 9 and 10 February 2022, SHUKALB in collaboration with SHUKOS organized successfully, online, the two day Basic Training on the Water Audit for the Water Utilities in Albania and Water Regional Companies in Kosovo, part of the Asset Management Advisory Services to Water Utilities in SEE (SEEAM) Project.

The aim of the training was to train the staff of the utilities in the Platinum Phase on the Water Audit (Balancing) and practice with EDAMS Software. The training was delivered by Nicolas Savva, experts at Hydro-Comp Enterprise.

The training was attended by representatives from 8 Water Utilities from Albania to include Sarande, Cerrik, Gramsh, Shkoder, Vlore, Elbasan, Korce, and Himare, and Regional Water Companies from Kosovo such as Prishtina, Hidromorava, Hidrodrini, and Mitrovica, as well as representatives from the National Water Regulatory from both countries, GIZ – ORF and Hydro-Comp Enterprises.

As part of the training, the experts from Hydro-Comp Enterprise presented and explained the aspects related to water audit including templates and shapefiles of the billing connections and bulk meters, creation of reporting files and loading of billing connections, as well as navigating to zones. In addition, several practical exercises were demonstrated during the two days of the training.
