RCDN Project Organizes in Tirana the specific ToT for Waste Water Program on “Introduction of Wastewater Systems for Managers and Engineers”

On 7-10 June 2022, the Regional Capacity Development Network for Water and Sanitation Services (RCDN), organized in Tirana the 3.5 day specific Training of Trainers (ToT) for Waste Water CD Program on “Introduction of Wastewater Systems for managers and engineers”.

The Overall Objective of the training was to enhance trainers’ technical and methodological competence to be able to deliver RCDN WW Program “Introduction of Wastewater Systems for managers and engineers”.

The training was attended by trainers from the LGUs and PUCs associations from Albania, North Macedonia and Bosnia & Herzegovina, partners of RCDN. The specific ToT was facilitated from the experts from UNA Consulting, Bosnia & Herzegovina.

During the 3.5 days of the specific ToT, trainers were capacitated to interpret and use the materials in order to deliver all the training modules such as, status of wastewater sector and legal and institutional wastewater framework at the national and local level, different wastewater collection and treatment systems with an emphasis of the technical aspects and their importance.

The program will be piloted in Albania by SHUKALB, during September – November 2022, and will be offered to the managers and engineers of the PUCs, LGUs and central government, who are preparing for infrastructural projects in the field of sewerage and wastewater treatment.[:]
