The lack of mechanisms responsible for increased pollution and increased frequency of natural disasters such as floods and droughts hinder the ability of water supply services to provide their services in a sustainable manner, thus posing a risk to national public health. Through this program, regional water supply and sewerage (WSS) companies learn how to identify harmful operations, how to plan, prepare, and respond to these incidents quickly, and how to recover in case of crises and disasters.
The program combines training and visits to WSS companies on these specific topics:
Flow-chart and Organization Chart development (1 day).
Roles in Crisis Management and Planning (1 day).
Improvement and Monitoring Plan and Field Visit to Critical Points of Water Supply Systems (1 day).
Crisis Manager and Water Security and Crisis Management Plan (1 day).
Target Group
The program is particularly valuable for senior and middle management in water and sewerage companies: Administrator / deputy administrator of water utilities, technical director, engineers.
