SHUKALB Opens the Registration for the D-LeaP Water Safety Plan and Crisis Management Program
The lack of mechanisms responsible for increased pollution and increased frequency of natural disasters such as floods and droughts hinder the ability of water supply services to provide their services in a sustainable manner, thus posing a risk to national public health.
SHUKALB has planned the delivery of D-LeaP Water Safety Plan and Crisis Management Program during the period of June – July 2024. Through this program, regional water supply and sewerage (WSS) companies learn how to identify operational hazards and how to plan, prepare, and respond to these incidents quickly, and how to recover in case of crises and disasters. In addition, practitioners receive practical scenario-based training for decision-making under uncertainty including among others the scenario of a pandemic and earthquake.
The registration for this program is now open!
