SHUKALB Successfully Concludes the 3-Day General Training of Trainers in framework of the RCDN+ Project

From 10–12 September 2025, at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel, Tirana, SHUKALB successfully conducted the 3-Day General Training of Trainers, organized within the framework of the RCDN+ (Regional Capacity Development Network) project.

The training aimed to strengthen the methodological competencies of water sector professionals for delivering high-quality trainings in accordance with the RCDN Quality Standards.

Over the course of three days, trainers from SHUKALB’s Pool of Trainers, as well as representatives from water utility companies and public institutions, participated in a series of interactive sessions that combined theoretical concepts with hands-on exercises.

The training was facilitated by Master Trainer Dr. Evis Gjebrea, in collaboration with Frosela Filo and Olta Alla, to whom SHUKALB extends its gratitude for their professionalism and dedication.

The program covered a wide range of topics, including:

• The Training Management Cycle and Quality Standards for Training Delivery;
• Training program design and adult learning and didactic skills;
• Training and facilitation techniques, including role-playing, presentations, and group discussions;
• Managing challenges and difficult participants, as well as reflective evaluation of trainers’ performance.

On the final day, participants had the opportunity to practice their newly acquired skills through simulated training sessions, receiving constructive feedback from trainers and peers.

This training represents an important step forward in strengthening the institutional and professional capacities of the water sector in Albania, as part of SHUKALB’s ongoing commitment to deliver standardized and regionally harmonized trainings in line with the RCDN+ approach.

Through initiatives like this, SHUKALB continues to enhance the quality and sustainability of capacity development services, contributing directly to the further professionalization of the water supply and sewerage sector in the country.
