Sustainable Water Sector Capacity Development Project – Meeting of the Working Group

Në përputhje me përpjekjet e vazhdueshme për krijimin e Programi Certifikimi të Bazuar në Testim për Menaxherët Operacionalë në Sektorin e Furnizimit me Ujë dhe Kanalizimeve në Shqipëri, Projekti dhe Ministria e Transportit dhe Infrastrukturës organizuan një mbledhje të planifikuar të Grupit Punës.  Mbledhja u organizua më 10 mars, në ambientet e Ministrisë së Transportit dhe Infrastrukturës, me pjesëmarrjen e aktorëve kryesorë të sektorit të ujit, si Enti Rregullator i Ujit, Drejtoria e Përgjithshme e Ujësjellës Kanalizimeve, Sekretariati Teknik i Këshillit Kombëtar të Ujit dhe Shoqata e Bashkive.  Gjithashtu në takim mori pjesë dhe Grupi Këshillimor Teknik, i cili përbëhet nga një grup i zgjedhur të Drejtorëve të Shoqërive Ujësjellës Kanalizime

Fokusi i këtij takimi ishte prezantimi dhe diskutimi mbi progresin e bërë nga Projekti lidhur me Komponentin II: Krijimi i një Programi Certifikimi të Bazuar në Testim për Menaxherët Operacionalë në Sektorin e Furnizimit me Ujë dhe Kanalizimeve në Shqipëri.  Më konkretisht, axhenda e takimit përfshinte prezantimin dhe diskutimin e përqasjeve të propozuara për fushat dhe nivelet e certifikimit, bazuar në një strukturë organizative të propozuar për shoqëritë ujësjellës kanalizime, në dritën e ndryshimeve të paraqitura nga Reforma në Sektorin e Ujit.[:en]

In line with the continuing effort to establishment a Test- Based Certification Program for Operational Managers in the Water Supply and Wastewater Sector in Albania, the Project and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure organized a scheduled meeting of the Working Group.  The meeting was organized on 10 March, at the premises of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, with the participation of major water sector stakeholders such as the Water Regulatory Authority, the General Directorate of Water Supply and Sewerage, the Technical Secretariat of the National Water Council, and the Association of Municipalities. Also participating in the meeting was the Utility Advisory Committee, which is composed of a select group of Water Supply and Wastewater Utility Directors.

The focus of this meeting was to present and discuss the progress made by the Project with relation to Component II: Establishment of the Test-Based Certification Program for Operational Managers in the Water Supply and Wastewater Sector in Albania.  More specifically, the agenda of the meeting included the presentation and discussion of proposed approaches for areas and levels of certification, based on a proposed organizational structure for utilities, in the light of the changes presented by the Water Sector Reform.
