Request for Expressions of Interest – Trainers for the Delivery of D-LeaP Training: Water Safety Planning and Crisis Management Program for Water Supply and Sewerage Utilities in Albania

SHUKALB has received financing for a Project Grant titled “Strengthened Responsive Services to the WSS Sector-Specific Needs in Albania through Capacity Development and Advocacy Activities” commissioned from the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and administratively embedded in the GIZ Project “Open Regional Fund for Southeast Europe – Modernization of Municipal Services (ORF MMS)”. The Project is being developed using the existing Danube Learning Partnership (D-Leap) Water Safety Plan and Crisis Management (WSP&CM) Program. The Project is supported, and coo financed by D-LeaP Program.

This program is delivered successfully two times during 2021 and 2022 for 10 PUCs in Albania. After the program utilities staff completed and presented the draft Water Safety Plan and the draft Crisis Management Plan of their respective utilities, and implemented their water supply networks in Google Earth.

Aim of the Assignment: The general objective of this assignment is to select trainers from the SHUKALB/RCDN Pool of Trainers, one Lead Trainer and one Co-trainer, who will deliver the D-LeaP Program in Albania, on Water Safety Planning and Crisis Management, in line with the RCDN Quality Standards (QSs) for Training Delivery. Maximum days for Lead Trainer under this assignment shall not exceed 11 working days and for Co Trainer shall not exceed 10 working days. Costs for travel and accommodation (if applicable) for field visits will be reimbursed/ covered by SHUKALB based on the Contract. More details about the required services are found in the Terms of Reference (ToR) document.

SHUKALB now invites eligible and qualified trainers, to indicate their interest in undertaking this assignment. Interested trainers must provide information indicating that they possess the required competences to perform the services, and must submit an Expression of Interest, along with the detailed CV, Certificate of ToT completion, References and a Financial Proposal (specifying the daily fee in euro for the tasks specified in the ToR document), to the below contacts.
