Një workshop rajonal mbi “Rregullimin Ekonomik të Sektorit të Ujit në Vende të Ndryshme” u organizua më 15 maj 2018, në Bukuresht, Rumani, në kuadër të Forumit Rajonal të Ujit të Danubit të Evropës Lindore 2018, që u zhvillua më 14 dhe 16 maj.

Workshopi u organizua me mbështetjen e Komisionit Ekonomik të Shoqatës Rumune së Ujit së bashku me tre Grupe Specialistësh nga Shoqata Ndërkombëtare e Ujit (Ekonomi dhe Statistika, Komunikimi me Publikun dhe Klientin, Qeverisja dhe Rregullimi Institucional) dhe iu drejtua menaxherëve të kompanive të ujit, autoriteteve rregullatore, si dhe aktorëve të tjerë të sektorit të ujit.

Temat e mbuluara nga workshopi përfshinin rregullimin ekonomik të ujit, tarifat dhe përballueshmëria, të drejtat dhe detyrimet e konsumatorëve, të drejtat dhe detyrimet e kompanive të ujit, si dhe marrëdhëniet me publikun dhe komunikimin.

Shqipëria u përfaqësua në workshop nga Znj. Brunilda Xhixho, Menaxhere e Marrëdhënieve me Publikun dhe Median, Shoqëria Ujësjellës Kanalizimeve Tiranë dhe Zj. Valbona Paja, Departamenti i Planifikimit dhe Raportimit, Shoqëria Ujësjellës Kanalizimeve Shkodër, të cilat ishin ftuar si folëse në workshop.  Znj. Xhixho prezantoi ”Kujdesi ndaj klientit – Fokusi i ri i ofrimit të shërbimit sa më cilësor”, ndërsa znj. Paja prezantoi “Sfidat e përmirësimit të shërbimit të klientit gjatë zbatimit të reformës në sektorin e ujit”.  Të dyja prezantuan përvojat e tyre në shoqëritë ujësjellës kanalizime përkatëse në lidhje me qasjen e kujdesit ndaj klientit dhe marrëdhëniet me publikun. Prezantimet tërhoqën interesin e audiencës dhe u pritën mjaft mirë.[:en]

A Regional Workshop on “Economic Regulation of the Water Sector in Different Countries” was organized on 15 May 2018, in Bucharest, Romania, in the framework of the Danube Eastern Europe Regional Water Forum 2018 that took place during 14 and 16 May.

The workshop was organized with the support of the Economic Commission of the Romanian Water Association together with three Specialist Groups from the International Water Association (Economics and Statistics, Public and Customer Communication and Institutional Governance and Regulation) and it targeted the managers of water companies, regulatory authorities, as well as other stakeholders of the water sector.

The topics covered by the workshop included water economic regulation, tariffs and affordability, customer rights and obligations, water companies’ rights and obligations, as well as public relations and communication.

Albania was represented at the workshop by Ms. Brunilda Xhixho, Head of Public Relations and Media, Tirana Water Supply and Sewerage Company (Tirana WSSC), and Ms. Valbona Paja, Planning and Reporting, Shkodra Water Supply and Sewerage Company, who were both featured as speakers at the workshop.  Ms. Xhixho presented on “Customer Care – A New Focus of Quality Service in Water Supply Sector”, while Ms. Paja’s presented “The Challenges of Improving Customer Service While Implementing the Water Sector Reform”.  Both of them presented their experiences at their respective water utility in regard to costumer care approach, and public relations and they attracted the interest of the audience and were very well received.[:]
