ADKOM Organizes 5th International Conference

Shoqata e Ofruesve të Shërbimeve Publike të Republikës së Maqedonisë (ADKOM), si dhe Ndërmarrja Publike Ujësjellës Kanalizime e Shkupit, mbajtën Konferencën e 5-të Ndërkombëtare me titull “Rregullimi i Shërbimeve të Furnizimit me Ujë dhe Kanalizimeve”, më 25-28 maj, në Hotel Metropol , Ohër, Maqedoni.

Eventi 3 ditor nisi më 25 maj me një koktej Mirëseardhjeje të mbajtur në ambjentet e Konferencës. Programi i konferencës përbëhej nga 5 sesione panel të organizuar në 19 prezantime teknike dhe 10 prezantime të mbajtura nga kompanitë pjesëmarrëse në ekspozitë.

Temat e pesë (5) sesioneve panel në Konferencë ishin:

• Çmimet e Shërbimeve të Ujit
• Regullorja në Sektorin e Ujit
• Ngritja e Kapaciteteve
• Menaxhimi Strategjik i PUC-së
• Mbështetja dhe Zhvillimi i Sektorit të Ujit nga Institucionet Financiare dhe Donatorët Ndërkombëtarë

Shqipëria u përfaqësua në Konferencë me Z. Avni Dervishi, ish Kryetar i Entit Rregullator të Ujit të Shqipërisë, i cili mori pjesë në sesionin panel “Regullorja në Sektorin e Ujit”; Z. Ndriçim Shani, Kryetari i ri i Entit bashkë me disa nga stafi i tij, dhe Z. Philip Giantris, Drejtor Ekzekutiv, dhe Znj Elisabeta Poçi, Zëvendës Drejtore Ekzekutiv, e SHUKALB.[:en]

The Association of Public Service Providers of the Republic of Macedonia (ADKOM), and the Water Supply and Sewerage Public Enterprise of Skopje, held the 5th International Conference titled “Regulating Water Supply and Waste Water Services” on 25-28 May, at Hotel Metropol, Ohrid, Macedonia.

The 3 days event started on 25 May with a Welcoming cocktail held at the Conference venue. The conference program consisted on 5 panel sessions organized in 19 technical presentations and 10 presentations done by the companies from technical exhibition.

The topics of the five (5) panel sessions at the Conference were:

• Prices of Water Services
• Regulator in the Water Sector
• Capacity Building
• Strategic Management of PUC’s
• Support and Development of Water Sector by International

Financial Institutions and Donors

Albania was represented at the Conference by Mr. Avni Dervishi, former Chairmen of the Water Regulator Commission of Albania, who was part of the panel session on “Regulator in the Water Sector”; Mr. Ndricim Shani, the newly named Chairmen of the Commission with several of his key staff; and Mr. Philip Giantris, Executive Director, and Mrs. Elisabeta Poci, Deputy Executive Director, of SHUKALB.[:]
