SHUKALB Starts Its Education and Awareness Water Programs for 2019

SHUKALB ka nisur zyrtarisht në muajin maj zbatimin e programeve të saj të edukimit dhe ndërgjegjësimit, “Miqtë e Ujit” dhe “Sfida Botërore e Monitorimit të Ujit”, të dyja të zbatuara në kuadër të marrëveshjes dhe me bashkëpunimin me Ministrinë e Arsimit, Sporteve dhe Rinisë .

Më 6 maj 2019, në Tiranë, SHUKALB organizoi një sesion orientimi të programit “Miqtë e Ujit”, me pjesëmarrjen e mësuesve dhe administratorëve të shkollave fillore si dhe përfaqësues nga shoqëritë ujësjellës kanalizime që marrin pjesë në program.

Programi synon të rrisë ndërgjegjësimin për çështjet që kanë të bëjnë me ujin te nxënësit e klasave të 3-ta të shkollave fillore.  Janë gjithsej 18 shoqëri ujësjellës kanalizime dhe 44 shkolla fillore të qyteteve të ndryshme të përfshirë në program për këtë vit.

Menaxherja e Programeve të SHUKALB, Olta Ceca mbajti një prezantim të detajuar në lidhje me përmbajtjen dhe objektivat e programit, materialet që do të përdoren nga mësuesit dhe nxënësit gjatë zbatimit, metodologjinë e programit, si dhe çështje te tjera logjistike.  Në fund, pjesëmarrësit u pajisën me materialet e programit si broshura e fëmijëve, broshura e mësuesit, fletët e vizatimit dhe posterat e programit.

Më 13 maj 2019, në Tiranë, SHUKALB organizoi një sesion trajnimi tjetër në kuadër të programit “Sfida Botërore e Monitorimit të Ujit”, me pjesëmarrjen e mësuesve te biologjisë dhe kimisë të shkollave që marrin pjesë në program.  Qëllimi i takimit ishte njohja e mësuesve me materialet mësimore, udhëzimet, skedulën e programit , modulet e mësimdhënies, si dhe procedurat për trajtimin dhe përdorimin e test kits-eve.

Takimi u drejtua nga Elisabeta Poçi, Zëvendës Drejtore Ekzekutive e SHUKALB.  Pas marrjes së udhëzimeve të programit, mësuesve iu dorëzuan materialet e nevojshme për monitorimin e parametrave të ujit si pH, turbiditeti, temperatura dhe oksigjeni i tretur në ujë, të gjitha pjesët e Test Kit.

Programi targeton nxënësit e klasave të 8-ta të shkollave fillore në Durrës, Shkodër, Lezhë, Vlorë, Peqin, Kavajë, Sarandë, Himarë dhe Cërrik.

Qëllimi i programit është edukimi dhe angazhimi i nxënësve në mbrojtjen e burimeve ujore dhe zhvillohet ne kuader te projektit: “Mbështetja e BE-së për Shërbimet e Menaxhimit dhe Trajtimit të Ujerave të Ndotura”, bashkefinancuar nga Bashkimi Evropian dhe Qeveria Gjermane.

SHUKALB officially launched in May the implementation of two of its most exciting education and awareness programs, “Friends of Water” and “World Water Monitoring Challenge”, both implemented under an agreement and with cooperation of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth of Albania.

On 6 May 2019, in Tirana, SHUKALB organized the orientation workshop of the “Friends of Water” program, with the participation of teachers and administrators of elementary schools, as well as the representatives of respective water utilities who are participating in the program.

The overall objective of “Friends of Water” program is to increase awareness on water related issues among 3^rd grade students of elementary schools.  There are 18 water supply and sewerage companies and 44 elementary schools of different cities, involved in the “Friends of Water” Program this year.

The Manager of Programs of SHUKALB Ms. Olta Ceca delivered a detailed presentation regarding the program content and objectives, the materials that will be used by teachers and students during the implementation, the methodology of the program, as well as other related logistics.  At the end, the participants received the program materials to include the children’s booklet, teacher’s guide, drawing sheets and posters of the program.

On 13 May 2019, in Tirana, SHUKALB organized another orientation workshop in the framework of the “World Water Monitoring Challenge” program, with the participation of the biology-chemistry teachers of the schools involved in the program. The objective of the meeting was to familiarize the teachers with the learning materials, instructions, the program schedule, learning modules, as well as the procedures for handling and using the test kits.

The meeting was delivered by Elisabeta Poci, Deputy Executive Director of SHUKALB.  After receiving the program instructions, the teachers were provided with the materials needed for monitoring water parameters such as pH, turbidity, temperature and oxygen dissolved in water, all part of the Test Kit.

The program targets students of 8^th grade in elementary schools of Durres, Shkoder, Lezhe, Vlore, Peqin, Kavaje, Sarande, Himare and Cerrik.

The program’s goal is to educate and engage students in the protection of the water resources, and is implemented in the frame of the project: “EU Support to Waste Water Management and Treatment Services” co funded by the European Union and German Government.[:]
