SHUKALB Attends the IAWD Roundtable of Danube Region Water Utility Associations and the D-LeaP Committee Council Meeting

Më 26-27 nëntor 2019, në Vjenë, Austri, Shoqata Ndërkombëtare e Kompanive Ujësjellës Kanalizime në Zonën e Mbulimit të Lumit Danub (IAWD) organizoi takimin e radhës të Këshillit të Komitetit të D-LeaP paralelisht me tryezën e rrumbullakët të IAWD-së të shoqatave kombëtare ujësjellës kanalizime të rajonit të Danubit.

Në takim morën pjesë përfaqësues nga 10 shoqatat kombëtare ujësjellës kanalizime, stafi i IAWD dhe anëtarë të tryezës së rrumbullakët, anëtarë të Këshillit të Komitetit të D-LeaP dhe përfaqësues nga Banka Botërore.  SHUKALB u përfaqësua në takim nga Elisabeta Poçi, Zv. Drejtore Ekzekutive dhe Nën/Kryetare e Këshillit të Komitetit të D-LeaP.

Qëllimi i takimit ishte prezantimi i Raporteve Vjetore të D-LeaP 2018 dhe 2019, si dhe Plani i Punës i D-LeaP 2020 për paraqitjen përfundimtare në Bordin e IAWD-së.  Në ditën e parë të takimit u prezantua një përmbledhje e Roleve dhe Përgjegjësive të Tryezës së Rrumbullakët të IAWD-së dhe Këshillit të Komitetit të D-LeaP, Raportit Vjetor D-LeaP 2018 dhe 2019, si dhe Plani i Punës 2019 dhe Zhvillimet e Ardhshme të D-LeaP.  Axhenda e ditës së dytë përfshiu një prezantim mbi zhvillimin e kurrikulave shtesë të D-LeaP dhe një prezantim mbi Kuadrin e Treguesve të D-LeaP.

Të gjitha temat e paraqitura gjatë takimit dy-ditor u diskutuan duke vënë theks të veçantë në kontributin dhe reflektimet nga shoqatat kombëtare ujësjellës kanalizime. Në kuadër të D-LeaP SHUKALB dhe SHUKOS kanë bashkuar forcat dhe kanë krijuar HUB-e të përbashkët për zhvillimin e programeve Efiçenca Komerciale (zhvilluar në 2018); Menaxhimi i Integruar i Aseteve dhe Benchmarking (aktualisht duke u zbatuar); si dhe Efiçenca e Energjisë dhe Uji pa të Ardhura (planifikuar të fillojnë në vitin 2020).[:en]

On 26-27 November 2019, in Vienna, Austria, the International Association of Water Supply Companies in the Danube River Catchment Area (IAWD) organised the next meeting of the Danube Learning Partnership (D-Leap) Committee Council in parallel with the IAWD Roundtable of Danube Region National Water Utility Associations.

The meeting was attended by representatives of 10 national water utility associations, IAWD staff and Roundtable members, D-LeaP Committee Council members and World Bank representatives.  SHUKALB was represented at the meeting by Elisabeta Poci, Deputy Executive Director, and Vice Chair of the D-LeaP Committee Council.

The objective of the meeting was to present the D-LeaP Annual Reports 2018 and 2019 as well as the D-LeaP Work Plan 2020 for final submission to the IAWD Board.  On the first day of the meeting it was presented an overview of the Roles and Responsibilities of the IAWD Roundtable and the D-LeaP Committee Council, the D-LeaP Annual Reports of 2018 and 2019 as well as the Work Plan 2020 and the D-LeaP future developments. The agenda of the second day included an introduction on development of additional D-LeaP curricula and a presentation on D-LeaP Indicators Framework.

All the topics presented during the two-day meeting were discussed with specific emphasis on the input and reflections from national water utility associations.  In the framework of D-LeaP SHUKALB and SHUKOS have joined forces and established joint HUBS for the delivery of Commercial Efficiency (delivered in 2018); Integrated Asset Management and Benchmarking (currently under implementation); as well as Energy Efficiency and Non-Revenue Water (planned to start in 2020).[:]
