SHUKALB and SHUKOS Organize the 1st Workshop for 2020 in Framework of the Joint Benchmarking HUB for Kosova and Albania

Më 20 maj 2020, SHUKALB dhe SHUKOS, organizuan workshopin me temë “Si të fillojmë me Benchmarking”, duke nisur kështu implementimin e ciklit të 6-të të programit të përbashkët të Benchmarking HUB për Kosovën dhe Shqipërinë. Workshopi u organizua online përmes platformës WebEx të ofruar nga Shoqata Ndërkombëtare e Kompanive Ujësjellës Kanalizime në Zonën e Mbulimit të Lumit Danub (IAWD) dhe Banka Botërore.

Në workshop morën pjesë mbi 25 pjesëmarrës, përfaqësues të shoqërive ujësjellës kanalizime nga Kosova dhe Shqipëria, përfaqësues nga SHUBALB, SHUKOS, IAWD dhe Danub HUB. Takimi u moderua nga Koordinatorja e HUB-it për Kosovën dhe Shqipërinë, znj. Nadire Vitija në bashkëpunim me Nënkordinatorin z. Avni Dervishi.

SHUKALB u përfaqësua në workshop nga Elisabeta Poçi, Zëvendës Drejtore Ekzekutive e SHUKALB, e cila gjatë fjalës së saj vlerësoi bashkëpunimin e mirë midis dy shoqatave përmes nismave të ndryshme të përbashkëta, dhe theksoi se programi Benchmarking është padyshim më i suksesshmi falë përkushtimit të HUB-it dhe koordinatorëve të shoqërive UK.

Gjatë takimit, u prezantua platforma e re e programit të Benchmarking e cila i ndihmon shoqëritë UK në identifikimin e zonave ku përmirësimi i performancës është i nevojshëm. Kjo platformë do të aplikohet për herë të parë gjatë vitit 2020 në të cilën do të kërkohet të plotësohen të dhënat e vitit 2019. Në lidhje me këtë, të gjithë pjesëmarrësit ndanë së bashku idetë e para për këtë platformë të re e cila do të jetë sfiduese për ta këtë vit.

Të gjithë pjesëmarrësit prezantuan shkurtimisht eksperiencën dhe gjendjen e shoqërive të tyre gjatë pandemisë COVID-9, si dhe adresuan pyetje, komente dhe rekomandime të ndryshme.[:en]

On 20 May 2020, SHUKALB and SHUKOS, organized the workshop on “How to start up with Benchmarking”, starting though the implementation of 6^th cycle of the Joint Benchmarking HUB program for Kosovo and Albania.

The workshop was organized online through the WebEx platform offered by IAWD and the World Bank.

The workshop was attended by over 25 participants, representatives of Water Supply and Sewerage Companies from Kosovo and Albania, representatives from the SHUKALB, SHUKOS, IAWD and Danube HUB.  The meeting was moderated by the HUB Coordinator for Kosovo and Albania, Mrs. Nadire Vitija in cooperation with the Sub-Coordinator Mr. Avni Dervishi.

SHUKALB was represented at the workshop by Elisabeta Poçi, Deputy Executive Director of SHUKALB, who during her speech praised the good cooperation between the two associations through different joint initiatives, and stressed that the Benchmarking program is undoubtedly the most successful thanks to the HUB’s dedication and coordinators of the water utilities.

During the meeting, it was presented the new Platform of the Benchmarking Program (UBP) which helps water utilities in identifying areas where performance improvement is needed.  This platform will be applied for the first time during 2020 in which it will be required to complete the data of 2019.  In this regard, all participants shared together the first ideas for this new platform which will be challenging for them this year.

All participants presented shortly the experience and situation of their utilities during the COVID-9 pandemic, as well as addressed different questions, comments and recommendations.[:]
