SHUKALB and SHUKOS Organize Successfully the Annual Joint Meeting of the Trainers

On 18 February 2022, SHUKALB in collaboration with SHUKOS organized online the Annual Joint Meeting of Trainers. This meeting is a tradition for SHUKALB and SHUKOS Joint Training Program, and it was also organized in the framework of both associations’ engagement in the Regional Capacity Development Network (RCDN) Project.

The meeting was attended by 32 participants from Albania and Kosovo, who represented professionals from water and wastewater utilities, central and local government institutions, private companies, academia, as well as free-lance consultants.  The meeting was moderated by Rozarta Pura, Director of Legal Department, Durres Water Supply and Sewerage Company.

The meeting was successful in informing the trainers on the capacity development programs that SHUKALB and SHUKOS organize at national and regional level, as well as in facilitating an exchange of their experiences in training delivery.

Some of the issues discussed by the participants were the preparation of new curricula related to the digitization and management of documentation according to the ISO standard and understanding the concept of the four (4) EU objectives: 24/7 water supply; quality; reasonable price; and profitable water utility.[:]
