Capital Infrastructure Investment Projects in the Water Sector

TRAINING AND PEER EXCHANGE ON CAPITAL INVESTMENT INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS RELATED TO WATER SUPPLY INVESTMENTS (4 days) Training 21-22, May 2024, Pristina, Kosovo Peer Exchange 23-24 May 2024, Pristina Kosovo
WSS companies and municipalities manage many capital investment projects in the water supply infrastructure in Albania, therefore the need for developing the capacities of the responsible staff is present. The objective of the training is to enable participants to carry out complex infrastructure investment projects, and to provide the participants with the necessary framework, general knowledge and skills in regard to, carry out necessary preparations for infrastructure investment project implementation, develop all elements of future infrastructure investment projects, and implement all stages of an infrastructure investment project. The 3-day training is combined with a 1-day peer exchange in Pristina, with the aim of increasing the knowledge of the participants on successful water supply infrastructure projects prepared and implemented by the Regional Water Supply Company of Pristina and the exchange among colleagues on challenges and lessons learned. An action plan will be completed in the end by participants.
The activities will target the:
Middle management of PUCs, such as, heads of relevant sectors/units; technical, legal, financial) and
Project Implementation Unit staff involved in the implementation and monitoring of technical, legal and financial aspects of capital infrastructure investment projects.
Municipal middle management in charge of Project implementation, and
Managers and specialists of relevant sectors from the National Agency of Water Supply, Sewerage who are part of the supervisory councils of WSS companies and the Water Regulatory Authority.
Participation Fee
These activities have financial support from the RCDN + project which covers the direct costs of the activity development, the costs of trainers and the costs related to transport and accommodation. The program is limited to a reduced number of participants of only 15 people. The reduced fee for participating in these activities is:
SHUKALB members is 29,000 Lek/person + VAT, and for
Non-Members 34,000 Lek/person + VAT.
