TRAINING AND A PEER EXCHANGE ON CAPITAL INVESTMENT INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS RELATED TO WATER SUPPLY INFRASTRUCTURE 18, 19, 20 and 21 December 2023, Prishtina, Kosova

The training is valuable to the:
Middle management in municipalities: heads of municipal services departments, staff in charge of key aspects of project implementation.
Middle management in public utility companies: heads of relevant sectors/units; technical, legal, financial.
Project implementation unit staff involved in the implementation and monitoring of technical, legal, and financial aspects of capital infrastructure investment projects.
Heads and specialists in relevant sectors from the National Agency of Water Supply and Sewerage and Waste Infrastructure, and the Water Regulatory Authority.
WATER SAFETY AND CRISIS MANAGEMENT December 2023 – March 2024, Tirana and Visit to the Utility’s premises
Lack of response mechanisms to pollution outbreaks and increasingly frequent natural disasters such as floods and droughts hinder the ability of water supply utilities to sustainably provide their services, hence posing a risk to national public health. Through this program, supported utilities learn how to identify operational hazards and how to plan, prepare and respond to these incidents for fast response and recovery in the event of a crisis or disaster. In addition, practitioners receive practical scenario-based training for decision-making under uncertainty.
