SHUKALB Organizes the End of the Year Workshop of the “Asset Management Advisory Services to Water Utilities in South East Europe” Project

On 17^th December 2021, SHUKALB in collaboration with SHUKOS (the Water and Wastewater Works Association of Kosovo) organized the End of the Year Workshop of the “Asset Management Advisory Services to Water Utilities in South East Europe” Project.  The workshop was organized online through MS Teams Platform, and it was attended by managers and staff from the water utilities from Albania and Kosovo, representatives from central and local government institutions from both Albania and Kosovo, as well as donors.

The objective of the workshop was to present the progress of the project during 2021, and inform about the activities that will take place in 2022.

The workshop was jointly organized by SHUKALB and SHUKOS, with the support of Deutsche Gesellchaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Hydro-Comp Enterprise HCE in Cyprus, and the International Association of Water Utilities in the Danube River Catchment Area (IAWD).

SHUKALB has continued the implementation of the third year of the Project with the participation of 18 water utilities.  Ten (10) water utilities out of 18 have already passed in the Platinum Level and soon is expected to start with the activities.  Seven (7) water utilities have been part in the Gold Level and have started with data collection and elaboration in order to apply the maintenance management procedures. In addition, one (1) water utility has joined the project at the end of 2021, in the first phase working on asset registry.[:]
