Objective<\/strong><\/h3>\n

<\/p>\n

The objective of this program is to make the profession of water supply and sewerage services a desirable, life-long interest for qualified, young, university trained water professionals.\u00a0 The program is organized cooperation with water utilities, the Faculty of Civil Engineering and private companies and offers a summer internship to students to acquire practical experience in their chosen profession.<\/p>\n

The Program is planned to be conducted over a period of 9 months, culminating at the Annual Conference and Exhibition of the Water Supply and Sewerage Association of Albania, which is held in November.<\/p>\n

First Stage <\/strong><\/h5>\n

<\/p>\n

Signing of the official Cooperation Agreement between the Association, the Albanian Ministry of Education and Sports, and the Faculty of Civil Engineering on 22 March (World Water Day).<\/p>\n

Second Stage <\/strong><\/h5>\n

\n<\/div>

<\/p>\n

Identification of the 3rd\u00a0and 4th\u00a0year students of Hydrotechnic and Environmental engineering and assignment of the interns at the water utilities all over Albania, private companies, or institutions working in the water sector. The interns do their internship at the assigned institutions for a period of 2-3 months.<\/p>\n

The students submit e report on their findings and experience at the end of their internship, and they become part of a certification ceremony during the Annual Conference and Exhibition of the Association organized on November.<\/p>\n

More than 380 students have gained work experience by today. Some of the intern students have been employed later by the water companies.<\/p>\n
