Membership to SHUKALB<\/strong><\/h1>\n

\nIn line with its mission to represent the collective interests of professionals in the water sector in Albania, SHUKALB encourages a broad participation in its membership. Any individual, organization, institution or company that has an interest in contributing to the progress of the water supply and sewerage sector in Albania is welcome to apply for membership.<\/p>\n

Membership Structure<\/strong><\/h2>\n

SHUKALB has four membership categories to include Water Supply and Sewerage Companies, Private Companies, Public Institutions and Individuals who may be senior and young professionals as well as students. Through the years, SHUKALB\u2019s main membership category of Water Supply and Sewerage Companies has increased. Today, SHUKALB\u2019s members under this category provide water supply and sewerage services to over 75% of the whole population of Albania.<\/p>\n

In 2008, SHUKALB revised its statute to offer membership to private companies as well. Another member in the category of institutions is the Faculty of Civil Engineering (Polytechnic University of Tirana). In addition, students and young professionals under 35 years old who become members of SHUKALB, become part of SHUKALB\u2019s Young Water Professionals group.<\/p>\n

Membership Fees<\/strong><\/h2>\n
Membership to SHUKALB is annual and fee structures differ based on the membership category. All members who are current in the payment of their annual membership dues are considered part of the General Assembly of SHUKALB, and are also eligible to be elected to serve on the Association\u2019s Board of Directors, and vote on official actions of SHUKALB.<\/h6>\n
