International Water Association (IWA)<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n

<\/p>\n

International Water Association (IWA) <\/span>is a global reference point for water professionals, spanning the continuum between research and practice, and covering all facets of the water cycle. Through its network of members and experts in research, practice, regulation, industry, consulting and manufacturing. SHUKALB is a member of IWA since 2010, and since 2015 is a member of the Governing Board of IWA.<\/span> <\/p>\n

European Water Association (EWA)<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n

\n<\/div>

<\/p>\n

European Water Association (EWA), is an independent, non-governmental organization dealing with the management and improvement of water environment. It is one of the major professional associations in Europe. SHUKALB is a member with full voting rights in EWA since 2006, and has been represented in the Management Council since 2009. <\/p>\n

Association of Boards of Certification (ABC))<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n

\n<\/div>

<\/p>\n

Association of Boards of Certification (ABC), is the association of certifying authorities for water and wastewater operators in the USA. SHUKALB is a member of ABC since 2015. <\/p>\n

International Association of Water Service Companies in the Danube River Catchment Area (IAWD)<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n

\n<\/div>

<\/p>\n

International Association of Water Service Companies in the Danube River Catchment Area (IAWD),\u00a0<\/span>is a regional platform that facilitates the voice of water utilities in the Danube region offering information exchange, peer to peer networking and knowledge sharing. SHUKALB is an extraordinary member of IAWD since 2017.<\/span> <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Regional Capacity Development Network for Water and Sanitation Services (RCDN)<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n

\n<\/div>

<\/p>\n

The project \u201cRegional Capacity Development Network (RCDN) for Water and Sanitation Services\u201d aims at increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the water utilities in the Western Balkans, contributing to better service provision with larger numbers of population groups getting access to drinking water and sanitation services and meeting the EU environmental Acquis Communautaire. The project is jointly financed by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and development (BMZ), and it is administratively embedded in the GIZ Project \u201cOpen Regional Fund for Southeast Europe \u2013 Modernisation of Municipal Services (ORF MMS)\u201d, commissioned by BMZ.<\/p>\n

Three key sets of activities will contribute to achieve the RCDN project outcomes:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Outcome 1<\/strong>:\u00a0The Associations of water utilities and municipalities in the Western Balkans, in cooperation with NALAS and IAWD, are enabled to deliver quality capacity development measures to water utilities and municipalities in the frame of the RCDN in a financially sustainable manner.<\/span><\/p>\n

Outcome 2:\u00a0<\/span>Management and technical staff of water utilities and public officials of municipalities have access to and make use of RCDN\u2019s high-quality, demand-oriented and formal capacity development products.<\/p>\n

Outcome 3:\u00a0<\/span>National Authorities, International Financial Institutions and Donors promote the use as well as contribute to the improvement of the RCDN capacity development offer.<\/p>\n
