SHUKALB is proud to announce that Ms. Arlinda Ibrahimllari has been elected as the new Chairperson of the International Water Association (IWA) Emerging Water Leaders Steering Committee for the period September 2016- September 2018. \u00a0Stated more simply, Arlinda has risen to become chosen by her international peers to lead them as the top Young Water Professional in the World.<\/p>\n

The Emerging Water Leaders Steering Committee is a representative body of young members (35 and below) that provides advice to IWA about appropriate ways to serve the needs of young water professionals in areas such as networking, continuous learning, and professional development.\u00a0 It also works to interest, engage and contribute young water professionals to participate in IWA\u2019s programs, conferences, and specialist groups at the national and international level.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe that the most important water challenges of today will be solved by the water professionals of tomorrow and I want to do what I can to ensure that we as the Young Water Professionals have the tools and exposure needed to be fruitful and successful!\u201d said Arlinda in this regard.<\/p>\n

Arlinda Ibrahimllari is the Chairperson of the Young Water Professionals Group of Albania, and she serves as the Engineering Head of the Waste Water Services Department at the Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Korca.<\/p>\n
