Grupi i Profesionist\u00ebve t\u00eb Rinj t\u00eb Ujit (PRU) t\u00eb Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb ka qen\u00eb i angazhuar n\u00eb nj\u00eb projekt i titulluar “Baseni i lumit Drin: Burim i p\u00ebrbashk\u00ebt dhe P\u00ebrgjegj\u00ebsi e p\u00ebrbashk\u00ebt”.\u00a0 Projekti ka filluar n\u00eb vjesht\u00eb t\u00eb vitit 2015 dhe ata e kan\u00eb zhvilluar, duke punuar ngusht\u00eb me dy grupe t\u00eb ndryshme student\u00ebsh nga Institutit Politeknik Worcester (WPI) nga Shtetet e Bashkuara. \u00a0Gjat\u00eb vjesht\u00ebs s\u00eb vitit 2015, PRU s\u00ebbashku me grupin e student\u00ebve t\u00eb WPI-s\u00eb s\u00eb atij viti, ka kryer nj\u00eb hulumtim mbi karakteristikat fizike t\u00eb lumit Drin si baz\u00eb p\u00ebr planifikimin e nj\u00eb “lundrimi” p\u00ebrgjat\u00eb lumit, p\u00ebr t\u00eb dokumentuar p\u00ebrmes fotove lumin dhe p\u00ebr t\u00eb intervistuar njer\u00ebzit q\u00eb jetojn\u00eb, punojn\u00eb dhe arg\u00ebtohen p\u00ebrgjat\u00eb lumit.<\/p>\n

N\u00ebp\u00ebrmjet nj\u00eb plani “lundrimi” t\u00eb zhvilluar n\u00eb detaj, PRU-ja nd\u00ebrmorri nj\u00eb seri lundrimesh n\u00eb pranver\u00eb dhe ver\u00eb t\u00eb vitit 2016, p\u00ebrgjat\u00eb segmenteve t\u00eb ndryshme t\u00eb lumit, p\u00ebr t\u00eb zhvilluar filmimin dhe intervistimit p\u00ebr nj\u00eb dokumentar t\u00eb planifikuar.<\/p>\n

N\u00eb tetor 2016, nj\u00eb skuad\u00ebr e dyt\u00eb student\u00ebsh nga WPI mb\u00ebrriti n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri dhe menj\u00ebher\u00eb filloi pun\u00ebn me PRU-n\u00eb p\u00ebr shqyrtimin e t\u00eb gjitha t\u00eb xhirimeve t\u00eb b\u00ebra, kryerjen e intervistave t\u00eb tjera, dhe zhvillimin e skenarit dhe historis\u00eb s\u00eb dokumentarit.<\/p>\n

Tashm\u00eb skuadra e PRU-s\u00eb dhe grupi i student\u00ebve nga Instituti Politeknik i Worcesterit jan\u00eb n\u00eb faz\u00ebn p\u00ebrfundimtare t\u00eb projektit, n\u00eb prodhimin e dokumentarit, i cili do t\u00eb prezantohet m\u00eb 14 dhjetor p\u00ebr nj\u00eb audien\u00eb t\u00eb gjer\u00eb, t\u00eb ftuar n\u00eb Fakultetin e Inxhinieris\u00eb s\u00eb Nd\u00ebrtimit n\u00eb Tiran\u00eb.<\/p>\n

The Young Water Professionals (YWP) Group of Albania has been engaged in a Project titled, \u201cThe Drin River Basin: A Shared Resource and A Shared Responsibility\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0 The Project started in the Fall of 2015 and they have been developing it, working closely with two different student groups from\u00a0 Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) from the United States.\u00a0 During the Fall of 2015 the YWP, with the WPI student group that year, conducted research on the physical features of the Drin River as a basis for planning a \u201cfloat\u201d down the river, to photo document the river and to interview people who live, work and play along the river.<\/p>\n

With a detailed \u201cfloat\u201d plan developed, the YWP made a series of floats in the Spring and Summer of 2016, along different segments of the river, to undertake the filming and interviewing for a planned documentary.<\/p>\n

In October 2016, a second team of students from WPI arrived in Albania and immediately started to work with the YWP to review all of the filming produced, conduct additional interviews, and develop the script and story of the documentary.<\/p>\n

Now the YWP team and the student group from Worcester Polytechnic Institute are on the final phase of the Project in the production of the documentary, which will be presented on 14 December to a large, invited audience at \u00a0the Civil Engineering Faculty in Tirana.<\/p>\n

Beyond their engagement on the Project, on 23 November, Mr. Fjordi Bisha, a representative of the YWP Albania Group and Ms. Sydney Brooks, representing the team of students from WPI, were invited to participate on the Top Channel Albania TV show titled \u201cWake Up\u201d, <\/em>to talk and raise public awareness on the Project.\u00a0 You may watch the show at the below link:<\/p>\n
