This training course aims at identifying types of pumps, motors and valves, which are very important for the water supply and sewerage system, as well as explains their maintenance program. In addition, it will address different solutions of problems during operation of these equipment.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>T<\/strong><strong>arget Group<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>This training course is developed for professionals of\u00a0 water supply and sewerage utilities and it is especially useful for engineers of technical department, maintenance and operation engineers, and technicians.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Ob<\/strong><strong>jectives of the Training Course<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>At the end of this training course, the participants will be able to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop a maintenance program for the equipment used in a water system;<\/li>\n<li>Schedule and perform maintenance of equipment at proper time intervals as directed by the manufacturers;<\/li>\n<li>Recognize symptoms that indicate equipment is not performing properly and identify the source of problem and take corrective action;<\/li>\n<li>Identify safety protection devices;<\/li>\n<li>Recognize the types of motors and identify the types of motor failures and the reasons for failures;<\/li>\n<li>Recognize the step by step procedure for effective troubleshooting;<\/li>\n<li>Recognize the types of pumps and maintenance required for each one;<\/li>\n<li>List the most common causes of failure and troubleshooting;<\/li>\n<li>Identify the types of valves and maintenance procedures for each type of valves.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>T<\/strong><strong>r<\/strong><strong>aining Method<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The training is based on lectures presented in Power Point, combined with discussions.
