Programi Miqt\u00eb e Ujit ka si objektiv rritjen e nd\u00ebrgjegj\u00ebsimit p\u00ebr \u00e7\u00ebshtjet e ujit te nx\u00ebn\u00ebsit e klasave t\u00eb 3-t\u00eb anemban\u00eb Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb. K\u00ebt\u00eb vit, programi u shtri n\u00eb 53 shkolla fillore anemban\u00eb Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb, duke p\u00ebrfshir\u00eb mbi 5.000 f\u00ebmij\u00eb. \u00a0Programi zhvillohet n\u00eb partneritet me Ministrin\u00eb e Arsimit, Sportit dhe Rinis\u00eb s\u00eb Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb, s\u00eb bashku me p\u00ebrfshirjen dhe mb\u00ebshtetjen e shoq\u00ebrive uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebs kanalizime n\u00eb shkollat p\u00ebrkat\u00ebse t\u00eb Programit.<\/p>\n

Nx\u00ebn\u00ebs nga Tirana, Durr\u00ebs, Tepelen\u00eb, Kor\u00e7\u00eb, Gramsh, Bulqiz\u00eb, Fier, Kavaj\u00eb dhe Fush\u00eb-Arr\u00ebz ishin midis 12 fituesve, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt u njoh\u00ebn zyrtarisht n\u00eb ceremonin\u00eb ve\u00e7ant\u00eb t\u00eb ndarjes s\u00eb \u00e7mimeve \u201cMiqt\u00eb e Ujit”. \u00a0P\u00ebrve\u00e7 k\u00ebtyre certifikatave, secili prej artist\u00ebve t\u00eb vegj\u00ebl mori nj\u00eb enciklopedi si dhurat\u00eb nga SHUKALB.[:en]

This year, SHUKALB\u2019s most popular and IWA award winning outreach program, \u201cFriends of Water\u201d, celebrated its 10th<\/sup> Anniversary.\u00a0 As traditionally, the program for this year culminated with the Children\u2019s Exhibition \u201cWater through the Eyes of Children<\/em>\u201d which was opened to the public during 4\u2013 7 November 2018, at the National Historical Museum in Tirana.<\/p>\n

The Friends of Water Program has as the objective to raise awareness on water issues among 3rd<\/sup> grade students across Albania.\u00a0 This year, the program reached 53 elementary schools across Albania, involving over 5,000 children.\u00a0 The Program is conducted in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth of Albania, together with involvement and support from the water utilities in the respective schools part of the Program.<\/p>\n

The Exhibition was officially opened on November on 6 November 2018 with the participation of Mr. Shpati Kolgega, Deputy Minister of Education, Sport and Youth of Albania, Ms. Elisabeta Poci, Deputy Executive Director of SHUKALB and the teachers and students from \u201cEdith Durham\u201d school of Tirana. \u00a0In her speech, Ms. Poci thanked the institutional partner Ministry of Education Sports and Youth of Albania, and the financial supporter of the program for this year, the Democracy Commission Small Grants Program of U.S. Embassy, for making it possible to spread essential knowledge on important water issues to the future generations across Albania, and thus planting the seeds in the further development of the water sector in our country.<\/p>\n

The Exhibition presented in total 158 drawings of 3rd<\/sup> grade students from 25 cities across Albania. The drawings were previously evaluated by an independent Commission composed by representatives from Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth of Albania, Albanian Water Regulatory Authority, Center for Children’s Rights in Albania and two professors from the Academy of Arts in Tirana. The Commission selected 12 best drawings, based on the messages each of them conveyed. These twelve winning drawings will be the basis for the annual calendar produced by SHUKALB to further raise awareness across different actors in the country regarding the importance of water issues.<\/p>\n

Students from Tirana, Durres, Tepelene, Korce, Gramsh, Bulqize, Fier, Kavaje and Fushe-Arrez were among the twelve (12) winners, which were officially recognized in the special award ceremony organized, where they were presented with the \u201cFriends of Water\u201d awards. \u00a0Besides these certificates, each of the little artists received an encyclopedia as a gift from SHUKALB.[:]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
