SHUKOS and SHUKALB are pleased to invite you to join and participate in the Program of the 7th <\/sup>Balkans Joint Conference and Exhibition to be held in Prishtina, Kosovo, on 6-8 November 2019, at the Emerald Hotel.\u00a0 <\/strong>The Conference Theme, Water for All,<\/strong> is inspired by the UN\u2019s 2019 World Water Day, and focuses on tackling the water crisis by addressing the reasons why so many people are being left behind.\u00a0 Water is a human right and no one should be left behind without access to safe water.\u00a0 Access to water underpins public health and is therefore critical to sustainable development and a stable and prosperous world.<\/p>\n

The Conference Program allows for broad and multi-dimensional discussion of topics on the wastewater issue, ranging from policy to technical, as well as management issues of the water sector.\u00a0 The Conference provides a platform for discussion, where participants can share their knowledge and experience in dealing with water sector issues, and at the same time creating networking opportunities among professionals of the water sector in the Balkan Region.<\/p>\n

The strength of past Conferences, as evidenced in the participant surveys that are conducted during and after each Conference, has always been the quality and diversity of the formal, professional papers that are presented by the chosen speakers.\u00a0 You are welcome to review the main themes and topic areas that the Conference organizers have formulated for this year\u2019s Conference, and to consider submitting an Abstract for presentation.<\/p>\n

Prior to the submission of the Full Paper and PowerPoint presentation, the authors have to submit an abstract of their paper covering one of the following topics. The submitted abstracts will be further evaluated by the Technical Program Committee of the Conference. The authors of the selected abstracts will then be invited to submit the Full Paper and Power Point Presentation.<\/p>\n
