SHUKALB e konsideron k\u00ebt\u00eb edhe si nj\u00eb arritje t\u00eb p\u00ebrpjekjeve t\u00eb saj, p\u00ebr krijimin e programit t\u00eb certifikimit bazuar n\u00eb testim, p\u00ebrmes projektit \u201cZhvillimi Q\u00ebndruesh\u00ebm i Kapaciteteve n\u00eb Sektorin e Ujit n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri\u201d, i financuar nga USAID. \u00a0N\u00eb korrik 2015, SHUKALB dhe ABC n\u00ebnshkruan nj\u00eb Memorandum Mir\u00ebkuptimi p\u00ebr krijimin e nj\u00eb baz\u00eb bashk\u00ebpunimi, lidhur me mb\u00ebshtetjen dhe advokimin e krijimit t\u00eb nj\u00eb programi certifikimi bazuar n\u00eb testim p\u00ebr menaxher\u00ebt operacional\u00eb n\u00eb sektorin e furnizimit me uj\u00eb dhe kanalizimeve n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri. \u00a0Bazuar n\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb memorandum, ABC \u00ebsht\u00eb duke e mb\u00ebshtetur Projektin ve\u00e7an\u00ebrisht n\u00eb komponentin e saj t\u00eb Certifikimit.<\/p>\n

Suksesi i Arlind\u00ebs tregon se n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri ka operator\u00eb t\u00eb rinj profesionist\u00eb q\u00eb punojn\u00eb n\u00eb sektorin e ujit, me vullnet dhe t\u00eb aft\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb p\u00ebrmbushur standardet nd\u00ebrkomb\u00ebtare t\u00eb certifikimit. \u00a0P\u00ebrmes krijimit t\u00eb programit t\u00eb saj t\u00eb certifikimit bazuar n\u00eb test, SHUKALB parashikon nj\u00eb t\u00eb ardhme t\u00eb ndritur p\u00ebr sektorin e ujit n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri.<\/p>\n

SHUKALB is proud to announce the success achieved by Ms. Arlinda Ibrahimllari in earning the certification of Professional Operator (PO) in the Waste Water Treatment category, as awarded by the Association of Boards of Certification in Ankeny, Iowa, USA.<\/p>\n

Arlinda became the first person outside the USA to be award the Professional Operator certification as administered by ABC.<\/p>\n

The Professional Operator certification to Arlinda was formally delivered at the \u201cInnovation in Certification\u201d Conference \u2013 ABC\u2019s Annual Conference, which was held in Denver, Colorado on January 19, 2016. On this occasion, ABC\u2019s Chief Executive Officer, Paul Bishop, said, \u201cArlinda is an extremely bright and talented young professional. \u00a0She represents the future of Albanian operators and all young professional operators around the world. We are honored that she has sought to fulfill our certification requirements and seek international recognition as a Professional Operator\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cI definitely want to contribute to the protection of the environment and public health. For me, protecting waters means protecting people. I am very optimistic about the future of the sector. I hope that the future is bright for Water Operator, and as a young water professional, I feel that certification is a demonstration of my commitment to the field.\u201d said Arlinda in this regard.<\/p>\n

SHUKALB considers it also as an achievement of its efforts for the establishment of the test-based certification program through the Sustainable Water Sector Capacity Development Project, granted by USAID.\u00a0 In July 2015, SHUKALB and ABC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for establishing a basis of cooperation related to supporting and advocating the establishment of a test-based certification program for operational managers in the water supply and sewerage services sector in Albania. \u00a0Based on this memorandum, ABC is providing support to the Project specifically related to its Certification component.<\/p>\n

The success of Arlinda demonstrates that in Albania there are young professional operators working in the water sector, committed and able to meet the international standards of certification. Through the establishment of its test-based certification program, SHUKALB foresees a bright future for the water sector in Albania.<\/p>\n

Arlinda Ibrahimllari is the Chairperson of the Young Water Professionals Group of Albania, and she serves as the Engineering Head of the Waste Water Services Department at the Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Korca.<\/p>\n
