UK Shkod\u00ebr bashk\u00ebpunoi dhe me Bordin e Kullimit nga i cili siguroi mjetet e nevojshme p\u00ebr pastrimin e kolektorit kryesor t\u00eb qytetit n\u00eb drejtim t\u00eb Liqenit t\u00eb Shkodr\u00ebs. Ky pastrim ishte i domosdosh\u00ebm me q\u00ebllim q\u00eb t\u00eb evitohen p\u00ebrmbytjet n\u00eb qytet nga reshjet e dimrit. \u00a0Ky kolektor \u00ebsht\u00eb i r\u00ebnd\u00ebsish\u00ebm p\u00ebr qytetin e Shkodr\u00ebs, pasi p\u00ebrmes k\u00ebtij kanali kullues sharkohen rreth 70 % e ujrave t\u00eb qytetit.<\/p>\n

Gjat\u00eb k\u00ebsaj periudhe, puna vazhdoi p\u00ebr t\u00eb siguruar furnizimin me uj\u00eb ndaj banor\u00ebve t\u00eb komunave q\u00eb tashm\u00eb jan\u00eb pjes\u00eb e Bashkis\u00eb s\u00eb re t\u00eb Shkodr\u00ebs si rezultat i Refromave Administrative Territoriale t\u00eb miratuara nga Parlamenti. \u00a0Nj\u00eb shembull i aksionit t\u00eb nd\u00ebrmarr\u00eb nga UK Shkod\u00ebr ishte riparimi i shpejt\u00eb i transformatorit n\u00eb stacionin e pompimit q\u00eb furnizonte Fshatin Guri i Zi,i cili kishte nj\u00eb vit q\u00eb nuk ishte n\u00eb gjendje pune. \u00a0Specialist\u00ebt e shoq\u00ebris\u00eb s\u00eb uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebsit Shkod\u00ebr nd\u00ebrhyn\u00eb dhe brenda pak dit\u00ebsh problemi u riparua, duke i g\u00ebzuar banor\u00ebt e Gurit t\u00eb Zi, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt organizuan nj\u00eb ceremoni me k\u00ebt\u00eb rast. \u00a0Kjo zon\u00eb m\u00eb par\u00eb ishte n\u00eb administrimin e Shoq\u00ebris\u00eb Uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebs Shkod\u00ebr Fshat, s\u00eb cil\u00ebs i mungonin burimet p\u00ebr t\u2019u p\u00ebrgjigjur me efektivitet ndaj shum\u00eb difekteve n\u00eb sistemin e saj t\u00eb furnizimit me uj\u00eb.\u00a0 N\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn m\u00ebnyr\u00eb, duke zgjeruar zon\u00ebn e saj t\u00eb sh\u00ebrbimit, UK Shkod\u00ebr kreu riparime t\u00eb ngjashme n\u00eb komunat e reja t\u00eb shtuara t\u00eb Rrethin\u00ebs, Postrrib\u00ebs, Dukagjinit\u00eb e tjer\u00eb.<\/p>\n

Nga ana institucionale, Bashkia Shkod\u00ebr ka filluar procedurat p\u00ebr integrimin e Shoq\u00ebris\u00eb Uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebs Shkod\u00ebr Fshat me UK Shkod\u00ebr, duke pasur k\u00ebshtu nj\u00eb shoq\u00ebri t\u00eb vetme uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebs \u2013 kanalizimesh p\u00ebr Bashkin\u00eb Shkod\u00ebr, nga Velipoja e deri ne Alpet e Thethit, Dukagjin. \u201cBesojm\u00eb se po b\u00ebjm\u00eb di\u00e7ka t\u00eb mir\u00eb, do t\u00eb dal\u00eb nj\u00eb nd\u00ebrmarrje e fuqishme, ndon\u00ebse territori \u00ebsht\u00eb shum\u00eb i hapur dhe i thyer. \u00a0Brenda k\u00ebtij viti,sipas vendimit t\u00eb Qeveris\u00eb p\u00ebr ket\u00eb \u00e7\u00ebshtje, p\u00ebrfundon shkrirja e dy nd\u00ebrmarrjeve n\u00eb nj\u00eb t\u00eb vetme\u201d, shprehet Drejtori Molla.<\/p>\n

Nj\u00eb interes i ve\u00e7ant\u00eb shkon p\u00ebr plazhin e Velipoj\u00ebs, pasi nj\u00eb furnizim i sigurt\u00eb me uj\u00eb t\u00eb pijsh\u00ebm, si dhe mbledhja dhe trajtimi i uj\u00ebrave t\u00eb zeza jan\u00eb gjithnj\u00eb t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00ebsishm\u00eb p\u00ebr pushuesit. \u00a0Shoq\u00ebria siguron se brenda muajit qershor 2016, do t\u00eb p\u00ebrfundoj\u00eb \u00a0projekti p\u00ebr kanalizimet e uj\u00ebrave t\u00eb zeza, q\u00eb do t\u00eb thot\u00eb q\u00eb pushuesit n\u00eb plazhin e Velipoj\u00ebs k\u00ebt\u00eb ver\u00eb do t\u00eb gjejn\u00eb nj\u00eb mjedis shum\u00eb m\u00eb t\u00eb past\u00ebr dhe t\u00eb kulturuar. \u00a0Po k\u00ebshtu, edhe furnizimi me ujin e pijsh\u00ebm nuk do t\u2019u mungoj\u00eb p\u00ebr asnj\u00eb moment.<\/p>\n

Objektivi i rradh\u00ebs i UK Shkod\u00ebr \u00ebsht\u00eb fokusi n\u00eb q\u00ebndrueshm\u00ebrin\u00eb tregtare dhe financiare t\u00eb shoq\u00ebris\u00eb.\u00a0 Lidhur me k\u00ebt\u00eb debit\u00eb e mbartura \u00ebsht\u00eb nj\u00eb \u00e7\u00ebshtje e r\u00ebnd\u00ebsishme pasi vlera e trash\u00ebguar llogaritet qindra milion\u00eb lek\u00eb.\u00a0 Aksioni do t\u00eb filloj\u00eb me institucionet q\u00eb kan\u00eb detyrime t\u00eb papaguar, me bizneset e nd\u00ebrmarrjet e ndryshme, dhe gradualisht me konsumator\u00ebt familjar\u00eb. \u00a0UK Shkod\u00ebr ka gjetur mb\u00ebshtetjen e fort\u00eb t\u00eb Kryetares s\u00eb Bashkis\u00eb, znj. Me k\u00ebmb\u00ebngulje do t\u00eb arrijm\u00eb q\u00eb pagesat t\u00eb b\u00ebhen pa pasur nevoje q\u00eb njer\u00ebzit ti friksojm\u00eb me nd\u00ebrprerje t\u00eb ujit, por duke i siguruar konsumator\u00ebve tan\u00eb sh\u00ebrbim t\u00eb besuesh\u00ebm t\u00eb furnizimit me uj\u00eb\u201d, tha Drejtori\u00a0Molla.[:en]Two months ago, the feeling in Shkodra was that the water supply service was as good as it was going to get, and it was not that good. The fact is that Shkodra does not suffer from a lack of water resources, but they had to change how it managed their water supply, and making that change was the direct responsibility of the Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Shkoder.<\/p>\n

The new Director, Mark Molla, who has only been in his position for six months, said to his staff from his first days, “we are not allowed to deprive the citizens from being supplied regularly with drinking water, because they have trusted us with this duty, and this is why we are being paid\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

With these words, Director Molla organized a group to define the necessary repairs needed in the water supply network; and assigned the specialists of the utility to undertake the repairs. \u00a0In order to meet the target in the shortest time period, the work often continued during the night, sometimes even during heavy rain. \u00a0After the network repairs were addressed, the work continued on cleaning the drinking water reservoir at the Tepe Hill, where in 25 years no cleaning work was ever done. \u00a0The situation at the reservoir was so serious that it was difficult to distinguish the reservoir from the field of brush around it, while the outdoor lighting system was completely missing and had to be replaced.<\/p>\n

UK Shkoder also cooperated with the Drainage Board of the City from where they received the necessary equipment to clean the main sewage collector of the City that carries the collected sewage flow to Lake Shkodra.\u00a0 This cleaning was essential in order to avoid flooding in the City during the winter rains. \u00a0This collector is very important to the City of Shkoder, because through this channel 70% of the City\u2019s wastewater is being discharged.<\/p>\n

During this same period, the work continued to ensure the supply of drinking water to the\u00a0residents of communes that have now become a part of the newly defined Municipality of Shkodra as a result of the Territorial Administrative Reforms passed by the Parliament. \u00a0On example of the action taken by UK Shkoder was the rapid repair of a broken transformer at the pumping station that supplied the Village of Guri i Zi, and which had been out of service for more than a year. \u00a0Specialists from UK Shkodra intervened and within a few days the issue was resolved, to the delight of the residents of Guri i Zi, who organized a ceremony for this occasion. \u00a0This area was previously served by the Shkoder Village (Rural) Water Supply Company, which lacked the resources to effectively respond to the many defective situations in its many water supply systems. \u00a0In similar manner, and in moving to serve its expanded service area, UK Shkoder made similar repairs of water supply system in the newly added communes of Rrethina, Postrrib\u00eb, Dukagjin and others.<\/p>\n

On the institutional side, the Municipality of Shkoder has started the procedures for merging the Shkoder Village Water Supply Company into UK Shkodra, thus having a single, joint water supply and wastewater utility for Shkodra that extends from Velipoja at the seaside, to the Alps at Theth. \u00a0“We believe we are doing a good job that will create an even stronger utility, even though the service area is very wide and rugged. \u00a0According the government decision on this issue, the merger of the two companies into a single one will be concluded within this year\u201d said Director Molla.<\/p>\n

Of a particular interest is the Velipoja beach area, since a safe water supply, and wastewater collection and treatment are always of great importance to tourists. \u00a0UK Shkoder is confident that by June 2016, the wastewater project in Velipoja will be completed, which means that this summer tourists in Velipoja will find a much cleaner environment. \u00a0Similarly, they will also be able to appreciate improvements in the supply of drinking water as well.<\/p>\n

The next objective for UK Shkoder is focused on the commercial and financial sustainability of the utility.\u00a0 In this regard, past due debt collection is an important issue, since it currently amounts to hundreds of millions Albanian Lek. \u00a0The initiative to be taken in this area will start with collecting the debts of public institutions, various business enterprises and gradually the debts of households. \u00a0UK Shkoder is pleased to have the strong support of the Mayor, Ms. Voltana Ademi; the Prefect, Mr. Paulin Radovani; and the District Police Director, Mr. Lorenc Panganika.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe that we will make these actions successful, and there will not be any threats of water shortages for the customers, as it is unacceptable to us to not be able to provide water to people in the Year 2016.\u00a0 With persistence, we will achieve to collect the debt, not by frightening people with water shortages, but by providing our customers with a reliable, trusted water supply service,” said Director Molla.<\/p>\n
