N\u00ebndrejtoresha e UKT, Evis Gjebrea, e trajtoi planin e biznesit n\u00eb aspektin ekonomik, dhe theksoi se rritja e \u00e7mimit n\u00eb mas\u00ebn e k\u00ebrkuar \u00ebsht\u00eb nj\u00eb llogaritje e b\u00ebr\u00eb duke ruajtur sensin e mas\u00ebs, n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb q\u00eb t\u00eb balancohen sa m\u00eb shum\u00eb kostot e nd\u00ebrmarrjes n\u00eb kryerjen e investimeve kapitale, mir\u00ebmbajtjen e nj\u00eb rrjeti q\u00eb po zgjerohet dhe do t\u00eb zgjerohet shum\u00eb, por edhe t\u00eb p\u00ebrmir\u00ebsoj\u00eb performanc\u00ebn e sh\u00ebrbimit.\u00a0 Znj. P\u00ebrfaq\u00ebsuesi i Bashkis\u00eb Tiran\u00eb, Taulant Tusha, theksoi se ashtu si t\u00eb gjitha investimet e m\u00ebdha, Bashkia i b\u00ebn duke bashk\u00ebpunuar, folur dhe d\u00ebgjuar qytetar\u00ebt p\u00ebr t\u00eb krijuar nj\u00eb ur\u00eb komunikimi permanente.<\/p>\n

Drejtori i Departamentit inxhinierik n\u00eb UKT, Ortion Dhami, u ndal n\u00eb detaj mbi projektet e kryera nga UKT dhe planin e plot\u00eb t\u00eb investimeve t\u00eb m\u00ebdha q\u00eb ka nevoj\u00eb kryeqyteti, jo vet\u00ebm n\u00eb 11 nj\u00ebsit\u00eb e qytetit Tiran\u00eb, por edhe n\u00eb nj\u00ebsit\u00eb bashkiake q\u00eb kan\u00eb qen\u00eb ish-komunat, t\u00eb cilat kan\u00eb nevoj\u00eb p\u00ebr investime t\u00eb qen\u00ebsishme.[:en]

On 27 July, at the premise of the Tirana International Hotel, the Tirana Water supply and Sewerage Company (UK Tirana), jointly with the Municipality of Tirana, held a public hearing regarding their recent request for changing the tariff of water supply service in the Municipality of Tirana.<\/p>\n

The public hearing was attended by citizens of Tirana, representatives of various institutions, media, associations, organizations and private companies.\u00a0 UK Tirana was represented by Redi Molla, General Director, Evis Gjebrea, Deputy Director and Ortion Dhami, Director of the Engineering Department, while the Municipality of Tirana was represented by Taulant Tusha, General Director of Public Works. \u00a0The hearing was organized in the form of an open discussion, through questions and answers, between the representatives of UKT and the Municipality of Tirana, and the participants.<\/p>\n

One of the main points of discussion was about the business plan drafted by UK Tirana, which addresses the necessary capital investments that will ensure the drinking water supply for Tirana citizens within a 5-year period. \u00a0General Director Molla pointed out the fact that the high rate of population growth in the capital over the years, unlike other cities, created a gap on the hydro-technical infrastructure investments, while the Company has already inherited huge debts which it continues to repay. \u00a0The services have been improved at all levels, investments have been increased significantly, but now there is a need for a major investment phase that will renew the main supply lines in order to reduce losses and increase water supply at the faucets of citizens.<\/p>\n

Deputy Director, Evis Gjebrea, addressed the economic aspect of the business plan, and stressed that the price increase at the proposed level is calculated carefully in order to have the best balance of the Company’s costs on capital investments, the maintenance of an expanding network, as well as to improve service performance. \u00a0Mrs. Gjebrea emphasized that the strategic plan of the Company was designed to have a success in a short time. “If things are going to continue as they are right now, we may be able to carry out capital investments in order to have 24 hours water supply service within 20 years, but with this plan we can reach the target within 5 years,” said the Ms. Gjebrea.<\/p>\n

Tirana Municipality representative, Taulant Tusha, stressed that all the major investments of the Municipality are done by cooperating, speaking and listening to citizens in order to create a permanent communication bridge.<\/p>\n

At the end, the Director of the Engineering Department, Ortion Dhami, presented in detail the projects carried out by the Company and the full major investment plan needed by the Capital City, not only in the 11 units of the city of Tirana, but also at the former communes that need substantial investments.[:]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
