Gjat\u00eb muajit shtator 2017, SHUKALB dhe SHUKOS zhvilluan tre kurse trajnimi, si pjes\u00eb e Programit t\u00eb P\u00ebrbashk\u00ebt t\u00eb Trajnimit. \u00a0Kursi i par\u00eb i trajnimit “Menaxhimi i Humbjeve t\u00eb Ujit<\/strong>” u dha m\u00eb 6 dhe 7 shtator n\u00eb ambientet e Kompanis\u00eb Rajonale t\u00eb Uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebsit t\u00eb Prishtin\u00ebs.<\/p>\n

During September 2017, SHUKALB and SHUKOS delivered three training courses, as part of their Joint Training Program.\u00a0 The first training course \u201cWater Loss Management<\/strong>\u201d was delivered on 6 and 7 September at the premises of Prishtina Regional Water Company.<\/p>\n

The training course was attended by engineers and technical staff of the regional water companies of Prishtina, Hidrodrini, Radoniqi, Bifurkacioni, and Hidromorava, who were greeted by the General Director of Prishtina RWC, Mr. Ilir Abdullahu.<\/p>\n

The training course was delivered by trainers Ervin Bucpapaj, Freelance Consultant from Albania, Sokol Xhafa, Technical Director of Prishtina Regional Water Company, and Mumin Morina, Technical Director of Hidromorava-Gjilan Regional Water Company<\/p>\n

The training course provided the participants with fundamental knowledge needed to monitor and manage water losses. Some of the main topics addressed during the two day training were:<\/p>\n

  • Pressure Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    This was the first time that this training course has been delivered in Kosova and besides the theoretical concepts on water loss, and the exchange of personal experience from the participants, the training also included some practical demonstrations and use of water leakage detection equipment that was provided by the host, Prishtina Regional Water Company.<\/p>\n

    The second training course titled \u201cManagement<\/strong>\u201d was delivered on 14 and 15 September, at Mondial Hotel in Tirana, and it was attended by the General Directors as well as other senior management staff from the Albanian water supply and sewerage companies of Tirana, Tepelena, Lezha, Mat, Vlora, Saranda, and Elbasan, as well as Prishtina Regional Water Company of Kosova.<\/p>\n

    The training was delivered by trainers Etleva Leskaj, Lecturer of Management, Faculty of Economy, University of Tirana and Majlinda Hakani, Freelance Consultant, Albania.<\/p>\n

    Through a combination of presentations on fundamental principles of management and exercises and case studies, the training course provided the participants with knowledge and skills necessary to face the challenges of everyday management at the water utilities.\u00a0 Some of the topics addressed during the two day training<\/p>\n

    course were related to the day-to-day tasks and responsibilities of managers such as: Communication; Human Relations; Organizational Culture; Problem solving <\/em>and Financial Management.<\/em><\/p>\n

    The third training course \u201cAsset Management\u201d<\/strong> was delivered on 29 September, at Mondial Hotel in Tirana, and was attended by the financial and management staff of water supply and sewerage companies of Elbasan, Fier, Permet, Shkoder and Kukes.\u00a0 The training was delivered by trainers Anri Dajko, Financial Analyst and Daniela Gega, Financial Analyst and Tariff Expert, from Valu Add Management and Edmond Lekaj, GIS Expert.<\/p>\n

    This training course addressed all the basic elements of asset\u00a0\u00a0management with the main purpose of raising<\/p>\n

    awareness of the importance of asset management.\u00a0 The training covered topics such as Asset Inventory, Asset Data Management System; Level of Service; Critical Assets; Asset Life-Cycle Management; Long-Term Funding Strategy.\u00a0 Mr. Lekaj held a presentation on the GIS program in the regard of asset management, what it is used for and what are the benefits of the GIS program.\u00a0 At the end of the training course were developed two exercises regarding assets inventory and critical assets of a specific city.<\/p>\n

    Since SHUKALB and SHUKOS agreed to join their efforts in providing training to their members under the Joint Training Program, the initiative has been very efficient in the use of resources, by allowing SHUKOS to take advantage of the Training Courses that SHUKALB has developed under its USAID funded Project Grant.\u00a0 In addition to that, the Joint Training Program has allowed for an expansion of the pool of trainers that can deliver the broad range of training topics available, which adds to the overall quality of the Joint Training Program.[:]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
