Takimi u organizua n\u00eb ambientet e Universitetit t\u00eb Arkitektur\u00ebs, Inxhinieris\u00eb s\u00eb Nd\u00ebrtimit dhe Gjeodezis\u00eb t\u00eb Sofjes. \u00a0Z. Z.Mitkov prezantoi projektin Benchmarking n\u00eb Bullgari, duke u fokusuar n\u00eb specifikat e shoq\u00ebrive uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebs kanalizime t\u00eb Bullgaris\u00eb dhe duke ndar\u00eb historit\u00eb e suksesit n\u00eb zbatimin e projektit Benchmarking.<\/p>\n

Pas takimit, grupi b\u00ebri nj\u00eb vizit\u00eb n\u00eb Impiantin e trajtimit t\u00eb uj\u00ebrave t\u00eb ndotura t\u00eb Sofjes, nj\u00eb nga impiantet m\u00eb t\u00eb m\u00ebdha t\u00eb trajtimit n\u00eb Ballkan, i v\u00ebn\u00eb n\u00eb pun\u00eb q\u00eb nga viti 1984. \u00a0Impianti gjendet n\u00eb pjes\u00ebn m\u00eb t\u00eb ul\u00ebt veriore t\u00eb Sofjes – Kubratovo, n\u00eb nj\u00eb sip\u00ebrfaqe totale prej 60 ha, dhe ka nj\u00eb kapacitet trajtimi prej 500,000 m3 uj\u00ebrash t\u00eb ndotura n\u00eb dit\u00eb. \u00a0Impianti prodhon energji t\u00eb gjelb\u00ebr nga biogazi dhe aktualisht mbulon 98% t\u00eb energjis\u00eb s\u00eb nevojshme p\u00ebr operimin e tij.[:en]

On 29 -31 May 2018, SHUKALB and SHUKOS organized a study visit to Sofia, Bulgaria, in the framework of their joint Benchmarking HUB program for Kosovo and Albania.\u00a0 The study visit was led by the HUB Coordinator, Ms. Nadire Vitija, SHUKOS, and it was attended by the coordinators of the participating water utilities in the Benchmarking HUB, of Tirana, Fier, Shkodra, Kamza, Prishtina, Peja, Mitrovica, Ferizaj, Gjilan and Prizren.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the visit was to exchange knowledge and experience with the Bulgarian Benchmarking HUB, to be informed on the progress of the program in Bulgaria, and on the current situation of the Bulgarian water sector.<\/p>\n

On the first day of the tour, during the road trip to Sofia, the participants had the chance to discuss on the progress of each utility in the program, the input of the variables on the EBC platform, and on planning for the next exercise.<\/p>\n

On the second day of the tour, the group was received by Mr. Ivan Ivanov, President of Bulgarian Water Association (BWA) and by Mr. Miroslav Mitkov, Coordinator of the HUB Benchmarking Bulgaria.\u00a0 The meeting was organized at the premises of Sofia University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy. \u00a0Mr. Ivanov made a presentation on BWA\u2019s organization, role, activities and programs, and on Bulgarian water sector specifics and issues.<\/p>\n

Mr. Mitkov presented the Benchmarking project in Bulgaria, focusing on the specifics of the Bulgarian water utilities, and sharing the success stories in implementing the Benchmarking project.<\/p>\n

After the meeting, the group made a visit at the Sofia Wastewater Treatment Plant, one of the largest treatment plants in the Balkans, commissioned since 1984. \u00a0The plant is situated at the lowest northern part of Sofia \u2013 Kubratovo, on a total surface of 60 ha, and has a capacity of 500,000 m3 of wastewater per day. \u00a0The plant produces green energy from biogas and currently covers 98% of the energy needed for its operation.[:]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
