Q\u00ebllimi i workshopit ishte t\u00eb diskutohej p\u00ebr draft raportet e programit p\u00ebr periudh\u00ebn e fundit dhe t\u00eb vazhdonte angazhimin e shoq\u00ebrive uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebs kanalizime p\u00ebr faz\u00ebn e ardhshme t\u00eb programit. Vitija prezantoi nj\u00eb p\u00ebrmbledhje mbi zhvillimet e programit dhe Raportin e Ushtrimit t\u00eb vitit 2017 p\u00ebr diskutim. \u00a0\u00c7do koordinator i shoq\u00ebrive UK paraqiti raportet e tyre individuale t\u00eb ushtrimit Benchmarking p\u00ebr vitin 2017, duke dh\u00ebn\u00eb interpretimin dhe analiz\u00ebn e duhur. \u00a0Pas prezantimeve, pjes\u00ebmarr\u00ebsit u angazhuan n\u00eb nj\u00eb diskutim interaktiv n\u00eb lidhje me sakt\u00ebsin\u00eb dhe vlefshm\u00ebrin\u00eb e t\u00eb dh\u00ebnave, si dhe \u00e7\u00ebshtje t\u00eb ndryshme t\u00eb hasura gjat\u00eb hedhjes s\u00eb t\u00eb dh\u00ebnave dhe gjenerimit t\u00eb grafik\u00ebve , si dhe \u00e7\u00ebshtje t\u00eb tjera teknike gjat\u00eb p\u00ebrdorimit t\u00eb platform\u00ebs.<\/p>\n

The regional workshop on Benchmarking HUB for Kosovo and Albania was organized on 7th<\/sup> of November at the premises of Expocity Albania, Tirana, prior to the 6th<\/sup> Balkans Joint Conference and Exhibition.<\/p>\n

The programme is hosted and coordinated by the Water and Wastewater Works Association of Kosovo and facilitated by European Benchmarking Cooperation, with financial support from the Danube Water Program and the Open Regional Fund for Southeast Europe. The Danube Water Program is jointly led by the World Bank and IAWD, the International Association of Water Supply Companies in the Danube River Catchment Area, with funding from the Governments of Austria, Germany and Switzerland.<\/p>\n

The Benchmarking Program is one of the Danube Learning Partnership (D-LeaP) programs that assists the participating utilities and their staff in identifying areas where performance improvement is needed by comparing their service performance with other similar utilities and international standards and by facilitating dialogue among practitioners in their best practices.<\/p>\n

The objective of the workshop was to discuss on the program\u2019s draft reports for the last period, and to continue the water utilities engagement in the next phase of the program. \u00a0The workshop was attended by the representatives of the participating water utilities on the Benchmarking HUB (Tirana, Durres, Vlore, Shkoder, Kamez, Prishtina, Peja Mitrovica, Ferizaj and Gjilan), as well as representatives of SHUKALB, SHUKOS and IWAD.<\/p>\n

The workshop was opened by Nadire Vitija, the HUB Coordinator who welcomed the participants and presented an overview of the progress of the Program so far. \u00a0The Workshop was greeted by Mr. Philip Weller, Technical Secretariat of IAWD, who expressed IAWD\u2019s support for the Benchmarking HUB.\u00a0 Participants were greeted also by Mr. Aleksandar Krsti\u0107, the Danube HUB Coordinator, who informed and invited them on the next activity of the program that will be held in Subotica, Serbia.<\/p>\n

Mrs.Vitija presented a summary on developments of the program and the 2017 Exercise Report for discussion.\u00a0 Each water utility coordinator presented their individual draft reports of the benchmarking exercise for year 2017, by giving the proper interpretation and analysis. \u00a0\u00a0After the presentations, the participants were engaged in an interactive discussion regarding the accuracy and validity of the data, as well as different issues encountered during the data entry and generation of graphs and other technical issues while using the platform.<\/p>\n
