SHUKALB ka p\u00ebrfunduar me sukses implementimin e programit EarthEcho Sfida e Ujit p\u00ebr k\u00ebt\u00eb vit. \u00a0Programi u zhvillua gjat\u00eb periudh\u00ebs nga 1 maj 2018 deri n\u00eb fund t\u00eb dhjetorit 2018, i cili sh\u00ebrbeu si afati i fundit p\u00ebr raportimin e t\u00eb dh\u00ebnave n\u00eb databaz\u00ebn online t\u00eb programit (www.worldwatermonitoringchallenge.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Programi ka p\u00ebr q\u00ebllim edukimin dhe nxitjen e angazhimit t\u00eb nx\u00ebn\u00ebsve t\u00eb klasave t\u00eb 8-ta n\u00eb t\u00eb gjith\u00eb Shqip\u00ebrin\u00eb n\u00eb mbrojtjen e burimeve ujore, n\u00ebp\u00ebrmjet pjes\u00ebmarrjes s\u00eb qytetar\u00ebve ne monitorimin e tyre.<\/p>\n

Programi i k\u00ebtij viti angazhoi 24 shkolla fillore anemban\u00eb Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb, duke p\u00ebrfshir\u00eb mbi 2.000 f\u00ebmij\u00eb. \u00a0Nx\u00ebn\u00ebsit u pajis\u00ebn me disa pajisje t\u00eb thjeshta monitorimi t\u00eb cilat ata p\u00ebrdor\u00ebn p\u00ebr t\u00eb matur kat\u00ebr treguesit kryesor\u00eb t\u00eb cil\u00ebsis\u00eb s\u00eb ujit: oksigjenin e tretur, pH, temperatur\u00ebn dhe turbiditetin e liqeneve, lumenjve, lumenjve, pellgjeve, rezervuar\u00ebve dhe burimeve t\u00eb tjera ujore n\u00eb zonat ku ata jetojn\u00eb. \u00a0Mostrat u mor\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb s\u00ebr\u00eb mjedisesh – bujq\u00ebsore, tregtare, rezidenciale dhe industriale – n\u00eb 24 qytete n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri.<\/p>\n

T\u00eb dh\u00ebnat e mbledhura nga k\u00ebto teste (pH, temperatura, turbiditeti, DO) u hodh\u00ebn nga student\u00ebt n\u00eb faqen e internetit t\u00eb programit www.worldwatermonitoringchallenge.com<\/a>, s\u00eb bashku me t\u00eb dh\u00ebnat q\u00eb jan\u00eb raportuar nga koleg\u00ebt e tyre n\u00eb vende t\u00eb tjera n\u00eb bot\u00eb. \u00a0Znj. Af\u00ebrdita Manjani, m\u00ebsuese e shkoll\u00ebs “Gjergj Kastrioti” n\u00eb Lezh\u00eb, p\u00ebrg\u00ebzoi programin dhe n\u00ebnvizoi se student\u00ebt ishin shum\u00eb t\u00eb interesuar t\u00eb merrnin rezultatet e monitorimit t\u00eb burimit ujor n\u00eb qytetin e tyre. \u00a0Ajo tha se nj\u00eb program i till\u00eb na ndihmon t\u00eb edukojm\u00eb brezin e ri mbi r\u00ebnd\u00ebsin\u00eb e burimeve ujore n\u00eb jet\u00ebn ton\u00eb.<\/p>\n

Ky \u00ebsht\u00eb viti i 3-t\u00eb q\u00eb SHUKALB organizon k\u00ebt\u00eb program, dhe si zakonisht, programi u zhvillua n\u00eb bashk\u00ebpunim me shoq\u00ebrit\u00eb e uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebs kanalizime n\u00eb qytetet e tyre p\u00ebrkat\u00ebse. \u00a0SHUKALB u mund\u00ebsua n\u00eb zbatimin e k\u00ebtij programi p\u00ebr k\u00ebt\u00eb vit, me ndihm\u00ebn bujare t\u00eb sponsori t\u00eb tij financiar Grantet e Vogla t\u00eb Komisionit p\u00ebr Demokraci t\u00eb Ambasad\u00ebs s\u00eb SHBA-s\u00eb n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri.[:en]

SHUKALB has completed successfully the implementation of the EarthEcho Water Challenge Program for this year. The program started on March 1st<\/sup> and ran through end of December 2018, the time when the participating students reported also the data they had collected on the program\u2019s online database (www.worldwatermonitoringchallenge.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The aim of this Program is to educate and encourage engagement among 8th<\/sup> grade students across Albania in the protection of the water resources, through participation in more formal citizen monitoring efforts.<\/p>\n

The program of this year reached 24 elementary schools across Albania, involving over 2,000 students.\u00a0 The students were provided with some simple monitoring toolkits that they used to sample the four key water quality indicators: dissolved oxygen, pH, temperature and turbidity, of their local lakes, rivers, streams, ponds, reservoirs and other water bodies in the area where they live.\u00a0 Samples were taken in a range of settings \u2013 agricultural, commercial, residential, and industrial \u2013 on 24 cities in Albania.<\/p>\n

The data collected from these tests (pH, temperature, turbidity, DO) were uploaded by the students on the program website www.worldwatermonitoringchallenge.com<\/a>, along with data that have been reported by their peers in other parts of the world. Ms. Aferdita Manjani, teacher of \u201cGjergj Kastrioti\u201d school in Lezhe, congratulated the program and underlined that the students were very interested to get the monitoring results of the water body in their city. She said such a program helps us to educate the young generation on the importance of water resources in our lives.<\/p>\n

This is the 3rd year that SHUKALB organizes this program, and as usual, the program was conducted in collaboration with the water utilities in their respective cities. \u00a0SHUKALB was able to implement the program for this year, with the help of the generous support of U.S. Embassy in Albania, through the Democracy Commission Small Grants.[:]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
