SHUKALB organizoi nj\u00eb event p\u00ebrmbyll\u00ebs p\u00ebr grant projektin e tij t\u00eb financuar nga USAID, ” Zhvillimi i Q\u00ebndruesh\u00ebm i Kapaciteteve t\u00eb Sektorit t\u00eb Ujit n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri “, m\u00eb 28 mars 2019, n\u00eb Hotel Xheko Imperial, Tiran\u00eb.
\nEventi u hap nga znj. Elisabeta Po\u00e7i, Z\u00ebvend\u00ebs Drejtore Ekzekutive e SHUKALB, e cila fal\u00ebnderoi t\u00eb gjith\u00eb aktor\u00ebt n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri, t\u00eb gjith\u00eb ekspert\u00ebt lokal\u00eb n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri dhe Kosov\u00eb, si dhe organizatat e tjera partnere n\u00eb rajon dhe n\u00eb SHBA, p\u00ebr bashk\u00ebpunimin dhe mb\u00ebshtetjen gjat\u00eb implementimit t\u00eb projektit. Pas k\u00ebsaj, znj. Po\u00e7i theksoi disa nga arritjet kryesore t\u00eb Projektit.

Lindita Sotiri, Drejtore, Drejtoria e Programeve te Zhvillimit p\u00ebr Furnizim me Uj\u00eb, Kanalizime, dhe Infrastruktur\u00ebn e Mbetjeve Urbane, Ministria e Infrastruktur\u00ebs dhe Energjis\u00eb, z. \nN\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb event mor\u00ebn pjes\u00eb p\u00ebrfaq\u00ebsues nga Ministria e Infrastruktur\u00ebs dhe Energjis\u00eb, Enti Rregullator i Ujit, Shoq\u00ebrit\u00eb Uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebs Kanalizime n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri, Ambasada e Holand\u00ebs, Ambasada e Zvicr\u00ebs, GIZ, SHUKOS, si dhe shum\u00eb ekspert\u00eb lokal\u00eb dhe profesionist\u00eb t\u00eb tjer\u00eb q\u00eb punojn\u00eb n\u00eb sektorin e ujit, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt kan\u00eb dh\u00ebn\u00eb kontributin e tyre n\u00eb suksesin e projektit gjat\u00eb viteve t\u00eb implementimit t\u00eb tij.

SHUKALB organized a close out event for its USAID funded project grant \u201cSustainable Water Sector Capacity Development in Albania\u201d, on 28 March 2019, at Hotel Xheko Imperial, Tirana.
\nThe event was opened by Ms. Elisabeta Poci, Deputy Executive Director of SHUKALB, who thanked all the stakeholders in Albania, all the local experts in Albania and Kosovo, as well as the other partner organizations in the region and in the US, for their cooperation and support during the implementation of the Project. After that, Ms. Poci went on highlighting some of the major accomplishments of the Project.
\nAttending the ceremony, to deliver congratulatory remarks was Ms. Mikaela Meredith, Country Representative, USAID Albania; Ms. Lindita Sotiri, Director, Program Development Directorate on Water Supply, Sewerage, and Waste Infrastructure, Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, and Mr. Zef Ma\u00e7i, Board Member of SHUKALB, and Director of Lezha Water Supply and Sewerage Company
\nThe event was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, Water Regulatory Authority, Water Supply and Sewerage Companies in Albania, Embassy of Netherlands, Embassy of Switzerland, GIZ, SHUKOS, as well as many local experts and other professionals working in the water sector, who have given their contribution to the success of the Project during its years of implementation.
\nSome of the most significant results achieved by the Project<\/p>\n

\u2022 Over 50 well documented training courses covering all aspects of the water supply and sewerage sector, being delivered regularly to the staff of water utilities in Albania and Kosovo.
\n\u2022 An Institutionalized National Training and Test-Based Certification Program for Operational Managers of water supply and sewerage utilities in Albania, established by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy.
\n\u2022 Over 40 trainers trained, coming from water utilities, academia, and private sector, from both countries, Albania and Kosovo.
\n\u2022 Developed and successfully delivered the first distance-learning training course on \u201cPractical Guidelines for the Administrative Council Members of Water Supply and Sewerage Utilities\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Signed MoU between Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy of Albania and Ministry of Economic Development of Kosova that will open the way to both governments working together to explore the benefits of developing a joint Test-Based Certification Program for Water and Wastewater Operators in the future.
\nAs a sign of appreciation for their cooperation and contribution, SHUKALB delivered certificates of appreciation to the members of the Work Group of the project, as well as local experts and trainers from both Albania and Kosovo.
\nSHUKALB will continue to collaborate with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy and all the other stakeholders for the implementation phase of the Certification program.<\/p>\n
