Impianti i Trajtimit t\u00eb Uj\u00ebrave t\u00eb Ndotura n\u00eb Pyllin e Sod\u00ebs, n\u00eb Vlor\u00eb, \u00ebsht\u00eb n\u00eb operim t\u00eb plot\u00eb q\u00eb nga muaji gusht 2018, pas disa viteve nd\u00ebrtimi dhe tani \u00ebsht\u00eb n\u00eb kapacitet t\u00eb plot\u00eb p\u00ebr sezonin turistik t\u00eb k\u00ebtij viti.<\/p>\n

Nd\u00ebrtimi i Impiantit u mund\u00ebsua fal\u00eb investimit prej 21 milion\u00eb euro t\u00eb financuar nga Bashkimi Evropian dhe Qeveria Shqiptare, i cili parashikon t\u00eb sjell\u00eb p\u00ebrmir\u00ebsim t\u00eb duksh\u00ebm t\u00eb cil\u00ebsis\u00eb s\u00eb uj\u00ebrave detar\u00eb n\u00eb plazhet e Vlor\u00ebs.<\/p>\n

Drejtori i Shoq\u00ebris\u00eb Uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebs Kanalizime Vlor\u00eb (UK Vlor\u00eb), z. Aktualisht ka disa pika t\u00eb shkarkimit t\u00eb uj\u00ebrave t\u00eb ndotura n\u00eb det, por sipas drejtorit Xhelili, gjith\u00e7ka pritet t\u00eb marr\u00eb fund. \u00a0\u201cZbatimi i nj\u00eb investimi t\u00eb Qeveris\u00eb Shqiptare, do t\u00eb b\u00ebj\u00eb t\u00eb mundur q\u00eb t\u00eb mos ket\u00eb m\u00eb derdhje t\u00eb uj\u00ebrave t\u00eb ndotura n\u00eb det, nd\u00ebrsa do t\u00eb p\u00ebrfshihen n\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb projekt edhe banesat q\u00eb jan\u00eb nd\u00ebrtuar n\u00eb zonat kodrinore deri tek tuneli n\u00eb \u201cUj\u00eb t\u00eb Ftoht\u00eb\u201d, t\u00eb cilat nuk kan\u00eb qen\u00eb t\u00eb p\u00ebrfshira ndonj\u00ebher\u00eb n\u00eb rrjetin e kanalizimeve si pasoj\u00eb e nd\u00ebrtimeve q\u00eb jan\u00eb b\u00ebr\u00eb nd\u00ebr vite, si dhe p\u00ebrpara se Impianti i Vlor\u00ebs t\u00eb projektohej\u201d, – p\u00ebrfundoi z. Nd\u00ebrkoh\u00eb dit\u00ebt e fundit, punonj\u00ebsit e Impiantit t\u00eb Trajtimit t\u00eb Uj\u00ebrave t\u00eb Ndotura, jan\u00eb angazhuar n\u00eb mbjelljen e disa pem\u00ebve n\u00eb ambjentet e k\u00ebtij impianti.\u00a0 Pem\u00ebt jan\u00eb dhuruar nga Bashkia Vlor\u00eb dhe do t\u00eb sh\u00ebrbejn\u00eb p\u00ebr ta b\u00ebr\u00eb impiantin edhe me t\u00eb gjelb\u00ebruar dhe nj\u00eb mjedis t\u00eb sh\u00ebndetsh\u00ebm.[:en]

Wastewater Treatment Plant in Soda Forest, Vlora<\/em>

The wastewater treatment plant in Soda Forest in the city of Vlora is in full operation since August 2018, after several years of construction, and it is now functioning in full capacity for this year’s tourist season.<\/p>\n

The construction of the plant was funded by the European Union and the Albanian Government with a total value of 21 million Euros, and is expected to improve the quality of the water across Vlora sea coast.<\/p>\n

The Director of Vlora Water Supply and Sewerage Company (Vlora WSSC), Mr. Dorian Xhelili, in regard of approaching the summer tourist season, said: “The plant is in full operation for this summer season and will enable the treatment of up to 70% of the total wastewater, contributing to cleaner sea water. \u00a0This will have a major impact on the tourist season this year, as the plant will treat all the wastewaters of the city of Vlora. \u00a0Currently we are working to increase the plant\u2019s capacity and to advance with service-enhancing technology. \u00a0I guarantee the citizens and the tourists that thanks to this plant they will have clean sea waters for this tourist season”. \u00a0Mr. Xhelili mentioned also the Orikum Wastewater Treatment Plant, which is being managed as well by Vlora WSSC. \u00a0“This plant will enable the wastewater treatment for the rest of the coast line and the city. \u00a0This is as well an important facility that will support the tourism in Orikum and the nearby coastal area.\u201d, – he said.<\/p>\n

There are currently some points of wastewater discharge in the sea, but according to Director Xhelili, this is expected to end soon. \u00a0“The implementation of an investment by the Albanian Government will enable to have no more wastewater discharge in the sea.\u00a0 This project will include also the residence buildings on the hills up to the “Cold Water\u201d tunnel, which were not included in the sewerage network due to constructions made over the years, prior the projection of the Vlora Wastewater Treatment Plant.”, – concluded Mr. Xhelili.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, recently the employees of the Wastewater Treatment Plant have been engaged in planting several trees in the premises of this plant. These trees were donated by the Municipality of Vlora, and will serve to make the plant greener and a healthy environment.<\/p>\n
