N\u00eb trajnim mor\u00ebn pjes\u00eb stafi i Shoq\u00ebrive Uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebs Kanalizime Lezh\u00eb, Sarand\u00eb dhe Berat-Ku\u00e7ov\u00eb, dhe u drejtua nga Prof. Enkelejda Gjinali, Lektore, Departamenti i Inxhinieris\u00eb s\u00eb Mjedisit, Fakulteti i Inxhinieris\u00eb s\u00eb Nd\u00ebrtimit, dhe Ing. Enkeleda Basha, Menaxhere, Impianti i Trajtimit t\u00eb Uj\u00ebrave t\u00eb Ndotura t\u00eb Durr\u00ebsit.<\/p>\n

Pjes\u00ebmarr\u00ebsit n\u00eb trajnim u njoh\u00ebn me karakteristikat e uj\u00ebrave t\u00eb ndotura, konceptet themelore p\u00ebr trajtimin e tij dhe shum\u00ebllojshm\u00ebrin\u00eb e metodave t\u00eb trajtimit. \u00a0Pjes\u00eb e trajnimit ishte demonstrimi n\u00eb vendin e pun\u00ebs i analizave laboratorike t\u00eb ujit t\u00eb trajtuar.<\/p>\n

Pas leksionit n\u00eb klas\u00eb, pjes\u00ebmarr\u00ebsit zhvilluan nj\u00eb vizit\u00eb teknike n\u00eb Impiant, ku ata pat\u00ebn mund\u00ebsin\u00eb t\u00eb shihnin n\u00eb praktik\u00eb operimin e Impiantit, si dhe b\u00ebn\u00eb pyetje t\u00eb ndryshme, n\u00eb lidhje me ato q\u00eb m\u00ebsuan gjat\u00eb trajnimit.<\/p>\n

During October 2019, SHUKALB delivered two training courses, \u201cWater Quality in the Distribution System\u201d<\/em> and \u201cOverview of Wastewater Treatment\u201d<\/em> as part of the Joint Training Program.<\/p>\n

The first training course, \u201cWater Quality in the Distribution System<\/strong>\u201d was delivered in Tirana on 17 and 18 October, and was attended by the staff of water supply and sewerage companies of Lezhe, Gjirokaster and Kruje. The training was delivered by Prof. Tania Floqi, Expert in Water Quality, and Ing. Astrit Menalla, Freelance Consultant.<\/p>\n

The training course covered topics such as Degradation of water quality in the distribution system, Degradation of quality in main water pipes, Quality degradation in water storage, Supervision of Distribution System, Water Quality Monitoring Program, Cross Connection Control, Importance of Disinfection and Factors Influencing Disinfection, Disinfection Process, Chlorine Application Points and Operation of Chlorination Equipment.<\/p>\n

In addition to the theoretical part of the knowledge delivered by the trainers, the participants were engaged in interactive discussions and exercises related to calculation of chlorine dosage for disinfection of water wells, and sodium hypochlorite for disinfection of the distribution networks.<\/p>\n

The value added for the participants in this training course was the facilitated exchange of best practices among each other in addressing different issues that they encounter in their daily work.<\/p>\n

On 25 October 2019, at the premises of Wastewater Treatment Plant of Durres Water Supply and Sewerage Company, SHUKALB delivered for the first time the training course \u201cOverview of Wastewater Treatmen<\/strong>t\u201d.<\/p>\n

The training was attended by the staff of water supply and sewerage companies of Lezha, Saranda and Berat-Kucova, and it was delivered by Prof. Enkelejda Gjinali, Principal Lecturer, Environmental Engineering Department, Faculty of Civil Engineering, and Eng. Enkeleida Basha, Manager, Wastewater Treatment Plant of Durres.<\/p>\n

The participants were introduced to wastewater characteristics, basic concepts for its treatment, and variety of the treatment methods. Part of the training was the live demonstration of the laboratory analyzes of the treated water.<\/p>\n

After the classroom lecture, the participants conducted a technical visit of the Durres Wastewater Treatment Plant, where they saw in practice the operation of the Plant as well asked questions, related to what they learned during the training.<\/p>\n
