Kontrolli i rrjedhjeve p\u00ebrb\u00ebn nj\u00eb nga sfidat kryesore t\u00eb Shoq\u00ebrive Uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebs Kanalizime. Humbjet teknike, t\u00eb cilat p\u00ebrfshijn\u00eb rjedhjet jan\u00eb nj\u00eb nga komponent\u00ebt kryesor\u00eb t\u00eb ujit pa t\u00eb ardhura. SHUKALB has planned the delivery of three more training courses during November 2019, \u201cLeakage Detection\u201d, \u201cGeneral Safety for Water and Waste Water Professionals\u201d and \u201cBusiness Planning for Performance Improvement\u201d.<\/p>\n

Leakages control is one of the main challenges of Water Supply and Sewerage Utilities. \u00a0Real losses, which included leakages, are one of the main components of nonrevenue water. They cause damages to the water distribution network and affect the quality of drinking water. Therefore, their proper control and management is essential.<\/p>\n

The \u201cLeakage Detection<\/strong>\u201d training course will be delivered during November 2019, in Korca, Albania, and will enable participants to acquire the basic knowledge on developing strategies on leakage management and detection, as well as explaining pressure management techniques and design District Metering Areas (DMA).<\/p>\n

The \u201cGeneral Safety for Water and Waste Water Professionals<\/strong>\u201d training course will be delivered during November 2019, in Tirana, and aims at identifying potential workplace hazards and taking preventive measures to avoid accidents, as well as to highlight the importance of developing self-safety programs.<\/p>\n

Workplace safety is a shared responsibility for any water supply and sewerage utility, starting from the decision makers to the field workers. Daily duties and responsibilities of employees may lead to risky situations. Therefore, they should possess basic knowledge on personal safety, develop and implement the health and safety program.<\/p>\n

This training course is especially useful for workers of technical department, including engineers, technicians and laboratory technicians.<\/p>\n

To help water and wastewater utilities with their planning, as it has been the successful experience in the past years, SHUKALB has planned the delivery of the “Business Planning for Performance Improvement<\/strong>” training, scheduled to start on 25 November 2019.<\/p>\n

The training enables the participants to work on the key elements for developing and\/ or updating a 5 year Business Plan for the Water Supply and Sewerage Utilities. The training will take the participants through all the steps of planning, starting with the analysis of the current situation, identification of strategic objectives, translating the strategic objectives into specific plans for performance improvement, and finally monitoring and updating of the business plan.<\/p>\n
