Me 16-18 Tetor 2019, n\u00eb Tiran\u00eb, Global Water Partnership \u2013 Mediterranean organizoi Tryez\u00ebn e Rrumbullak\u00ebt t\u00eb 3-t\u00eb Rajonale t\u00eb Nexus n\u00eb Evrop\u00ebn Juglindore (EJL). \u00a0Eventi 3-ditor u organizua n\u00eb bash\u00ebpunim me Ministrin\u00eb Gjermane p\u00ebr Mjedisin, Ruajtjen e Natyr\u00ebs dhe Sigurin\u00eb B\u00ebrthamore dhe u mb\u00ebshtet nga Agjencia Federale Gjermane e Mjedisit, Rrjeti Nd\u00ebrkomb\u00ebtar i Shk\u00ebmbimit t\u00eb Njohurive dhe Burimeve Ujore t\u00eb Global Environment Facility (GEF), dhe Agjencia Austriake e Zhvillimit.<\/p>\n

Tryeza e Rrumbullak\u00ebt e 3-t\u00eb Rajonale e Nexus vjen pas 2 eventeve t\u00eb m\u00ebparshme t\u00eb mbajtura n\u00eb Beograd n\u00eb 2017 dhe n\u00eb Shkup n\u00eb vitin 2018. \u00a0Q\u00ebllimi i p\u00ebrgjithsh\u00ebm i k\u00ebtyre tryezave t\u00eb rrumbullak\u00ebta \u00ebsht\u00eb t\u00eb ndihmoj\u00eb n\u00eb arritjen e objektivave t\u00eb lidhura me Nexus-in t\u00eb Dimensionit “Mjedis” i Strategjis\u00eb SEE2020, duke leht\u00ebsuar proceset e dialogut n\u00eb Rajonin e Evrop\u00ebs Juglindore p\u00ebr inkorporimin e konsideratave t\u00eb Nexusit t\u00eb Uj\u00eb-Energji-Ushqim-Ekosistem n\u00eb planifikimin komb\u00ebtar dhe nd\u00ebrkufitar t\u00eb burimeve t\u00eb ujit.<\/p>\n

Kjo tryez\u00eb e 3-t\u00eb e rrumbullak\u00ebt u fokusua kryesisht n\u00eb forcimin e kapaciteteve n\u00eb lidhje me asistimin drejt identifikimit dhe p\u00ebrpar\u00ebsis\u00eb s\u00eb zgjidhjeve t\u00eb lidhura me Nexus dhe diskutimin e hapave t\u00eb ardhsh\u00ebm t\u00eb mundsh\u00ebm n\u00eb nivelin rajonal.<\/p>\n

Elisabeta Po\u00e7i, Z\u00ebvend\u00ebs Drejtore Ekzekutive e SHUKALB ishte e ftuar t\u00eb fliste si paneliste n\u00eb Sesionin 2, me tem\u00eb “Pas Vler\u00ebsimeve – Identifikimi, ndarja dhe promovimi i zgjidhjeve Nexus n\u00eb nivelin komb\u00ebtar dhe nd\u00ebrkufitar”, mbajtur n\u00eb 17 tetor 2019. \u00a0Inputi i Znj. Po\u00e7i n\u00eb panel kishte t\u00eb b\u00ebnte me nexusin uj\u00eb-energji me fokus n\u00eb sh\u00ebrbimet e furnizimit me uj\u00eb dhe kanalizimeve. \u00a0Znj Po\u00e7i solli n\u00eb v\u00ebmendje disa nga sfidat kryesore t\u00eb efi\u00e7enc\u00eb me t\u00eb cilat p\u00ebrballen shoq\u00ebrit\u00eb uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebs kanalizime n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri dhe n\u00eb rajon, ku efi\u00e7enca e energjis\u00eb \u00ebsht\u00eb nj\u00eb nga m\u00eb kryesor\u00ebt, por p\u00ebr fat t\u00eb keq nuk merr v\u00ebmendjen q\u00eb duhet. \u00a0Nga ana tjet\u00ebr, ajo ndau disa shembuj pionier\u00eb t\u00eb shoq\u00ebrive uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebs kanalizime n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri q\u00eb jan\u00eb duke p\u00ebrdorur burime t\u00eb rinovueshme t\u00eb energjis\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb kompensuar p\u00ebrdorimin e energjis\u00eb elektrike nga rrjeti, si\u00e7 \u00ebsht\u00eb impianti i trajtimit t\u00eb uj\u00ebrave t\u00eb ndotura n\u00eb Kor\u00e7\u00eb q\u00eb p\u00ebrdor fotovoltaik\u00ebt dhe impiantin e trajtimit t\u00eb uj\u00ebrave t\u00eb ndotur n\u00eb Durr\u00ebs q\u00eb prodhojn\u00eb biogaz nga llumi.<\/p>\n

N\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb aktivitet mor\u00ebn pjes\u00eb m\u00eb shum\u00eb se 80 p\u00ebrfaq\u00ebsues nga t\u00eb gjitha 6 ekonomit\u00eb e Evrop\u00ebs Juglindore, duke p\u00ebrfshir\u00eb p\u00ebrfaq\u00ebsues t\u00eb Ministrive dhe institucioneve t\u00eb p\u00ebrfshira n\u00eb menaxhimin e ujit, prodhimin e energjis\u00eb, bujq\u00ebsin\u00eb dhe mbrojtjen e mjedisit, si dhe t\u00eb proceseve politike dhe donator\u00eb.[:en]

On 16 to 18 October 2019, in Tirana, the Global Water Partnership \u2013 Mediterranean organized the 3rd<\/sup> Regional Nexus Roundtable in South East Europe (SEE).\u00a0 The three day event was organized jointly with the German Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety and supported by the German Federal Environment Agency, Global Environment Facility’s (GEF) International Waters Learning Exchange and Resource Network, and Austrian Development Agency.<\/p>\n

The 3rd<\/sup> Regional Nexus Roundtable followed up on the previous ones held in Belgrade in 2017 and in Skopje in 2018. The overall aim of these Roundtables is to assist towards achieving the Nexus-related objectives of the Dimension \u201cEnvironment\u201d of the SEE2020 Strategy, by facilitating dialogue processes in the South East Europe Region for the incorporation of Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems Nexus considerations in national and transboundary water resources management planning.<\/p>\n

This 3rd<\/sup> Roundtable mainly focused on enhancing related capacities, on assisting towards the identification and prioritization of Nexus-related solutions, and on discussing potential next steps at the regional level.<\/p>\n

Elisabeta Poci, Deputy Executive Director of SHUKALB was invited to speak as a panelist at the Session 2, themed \u201cAfter the Assessments \u2013 Identifying, sharing and promoting Nexus solutions at the national and Transboundary levels\u201d, held on 17 October 2019.\u00a0 Ms. Poci\u2019s input to the panel was related to the water-energy nexus with a focus on water supply and wastewater services.\u00a0 Ms. Poci brought to focus some of the key efficiency challenges faced by water utilities in Albania and in the region, where energy efficiency is one of the major ones, but unfortunately does not get the attention that it should.\u00a0 On the other side, she shared some pioneer examples of water utilities in Albania that are using renewable sources of energy to offset their use of electricity from the grid such as the Korca wastewater treatment plant that uses photovoltaics and Durres wastewater treatment plant that produces biogas from sludge.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by more than 80 stakeholders from all 6 economies of SEE, including representatives of Ministries and institutions involved in water management, energy production, agriculture and environmental protection, as well as of political processes and donors.[:]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
