N\u00eb t\u00eb gjith\u00eb globin \u00e7do vit, 22 Marsi festohet si Dita Bot\u00ebrore e Ujit (DBU), e shpallur nga Kombet e Bashkuara p\u00ebr t\u00eb t\u00ebrhequr v\u00ebmendjen mbi r\u00ebnd\u00ebsin\u00eb e ujit. \u00a0Tema e DBU 2020 \u00ebsht\u00eb “Uji dhe Ndryshimet Klimatike” dhe q\u00ebllimi \u00ebsht\u00eb t\u00eb tregoj\u00eb se si t\u00eb dy jan\u00eb t\u00eb lidhur n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb t\u00eb pandashme me nj\u00ebri-tjetrin. \u00a0Nd\u00ebrsa t\u00eb gjith\u00eb jemi t\u00eb vet\u00ebdijsh\u00ebm dhe duke e p\u00ebrjetuar, kjo DBU na gjen t\u00eb gjith\u00ebve n\u00eb nj\u00eb situat\u00eb t\u00eb pazakont\u00eb dhe shum\u00eb sfiduese, pasi ne dhe e gjith\u00eb bota jemi duke u p\u00ebrballur me shp\u00ebrthimin e virusit Corona (COVID-19).<\/p>\n

SHUKALB ka nj\u00eb histori t\u00eb gjat\u00eb t\u00eb festimit t\u00eb DBU-s\u00eb p\u00ebrmes aktiviteteve t\u00eb ndryshme p\u00ebr edukimin dhe rritjen e nd\u00ebrgjegj\u00ebsimit publik t\u00eb organizuara nga shoq\u00ebrit\u00eb uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebs kanalizime n\u00eb t\u00eb gjith\u00eb Shqip\u00ebrin\u00eb. \u00a0Aktivitetet n\u00eb t\u00eb kaluar\u00ebn p\u00ebrfshinin shp\u00ebrndarjen e mesazheve nd\u00ebrgjegj\u00ebsuese p\u00ebr konsumator\u00ebt, aktivitete q\u00eb angazhojn\u00eb f\u00ebmij\u00ebt e shkollave t\u00eb vizitojn\u00eb impiantet e trajtimit t\u00eb ujit t\u00eb ndotur dhe t\u00eb m\u00ebsojn\u00eb rreth trajtimit t\u00eb ujit t\u00eb ndotur, si dhe aktivitetet e monitorimit t\u00eb burimeve ujore t\u00eb organizuara me f\u00ebmij\u00ebt e klasave t\u00eb 8-ta, si pjes\u00eb e Programit t\u00eb SHUKALB, Sfida Bot\u00ebrore e Monitorimit t\u00eb Ujit. \u00a0T\u00eb gjitha k\u00ebto aktivitete jan\u00eb anulluar p\u00ebr k\u00ebt\u00eb Dit\u00eb Bot\u00ebrore t\u00eb Ujit, ashtu si dhe OKB ka anulluar ose shtyr\u00eb shum\u00eb aktivitete t\u00eb tjera t\u00eb Dit\u00ebs Bot\u00ebrore q\u00eb p\u00ebrfshijn\u00eb kontaktet midis njer\u00ebzve.<\/p>\n

N\u00eb vazhdim, SHUKALB ka anulluar t\u00eb gjitha aktivitetet q\u00eb p\u00ebrfshijn\u00eb takime midis njer\u00ebzve, si trajnime dhe mbledhje e workshope q\u00eb kan\u00eb t\u00eb b\u00ebjn\u00eb me Projektet e tij aktuale p\u00ebr pjes\u00ebn tjet\u00ebr t\u00eb k\u00ebtij muaji, si dhe p\u00ebr muajin Prill, dhe do t’i ri-programoj\u00eb ato n\u00eb koh\u00ebn m\u00eb t\u00eb p\u00ebrshtatshme, n\u00eb p\u00ebrputhje me udh\u00ebzimet e Qeveris\u00eb Shqiptare. \u00a0SHUKALB mb\u00ebshtet fuqimisht t\u00eb gjitha masat p\u00ebr t\u00eb ndalur p\u00ebrhapjen e virusit Corona, dhe bashkohet me thirrjen dhe udh\u00ebzimet e Organizat\u00ebs Bot\u00ebrore t\u00eb Sh\u00ebndetit (OBSH) q\u00eb promovojn\u00eb nj\u00eb higjen\u00eb m\u00eb t\u00eb mir\u00eb, si nj\u00eb nga masat p\u00ebr t\u00eb ndalur COVID-19. \u00a0N\u00eb vecanti, SHUKALB sjell n\u00eb v\u00ebmendjen e shoq\u00ebrive uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebs kanalizime udh\u00ebzimet e dh\u00ebna n\u00eb p\u00ebrmbledhjen teknike t\u00eb OBSH-s\u00eb \u201cFurnizimi me Uj\u00eb, Kanalizimet, Higjena dhe Menaxhimi i Mbetjeve p\u00ebr virusin COVID-19<\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\n

SHUKALB do t\u00eb monitoroj\u00eb nga af\u00ebr situat\u00ebn n\u00eb zhvillim me shp\u00ebrthimin e COVID-19 n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri, dhe \u00ebsht\u00eb e angazhuar t\u00eb sjell\u00eb informacione t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00ebsishme dhe t\u00eb dobishme p\u00ebr an\u00ebtar\u00ebt e tij, si dhe m\u00eb gjer\u00eb komunitetin e ujit n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri, p\u00ebrmes mediave t\u00eb tij sociale si dhe kanaleve t\u00eb tjera t\u00eb komunikimit.<\/p>\n

P\u00ebrve\u00e7 mjek\u00ebve dhe personelit mjek\u00ebsor q\u00eb jan\u00eb heronjt\u00eb e k\u00ebtyre dit\u00ebve, n\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb DBU mendimet dhe mir\u00ebnjohja jon\u00eb shkojn\u00eb te burrat dhe grat\u00eb q\u00eb vazhdojn\u00eb t\u00eb punojn\u00eb \u00e7do dit\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb siguruar sh\u00ebrbimet tona jet\u00ebsore t\u00eb furnizimit me uj\u00eb dhe kanalizimeve. S\u00eb fundmi, SHUKALB mb\u00ebshtet fushat\u00ebn e OKB-s\u00eb \u201cT\u00eb Gjith\u00eb S\u00ebbashku n\u00eb Dit\u00ebn Bot\u00ebrore t\u00eb Ujit\u201d p\u00ebr t\u00eb ndihmuar n\u00eb ndalimin e shp\u00ebrthimit t\u00eb virusit Corona (COVID-19). \u00a0Le t\u00eb mos harrojm\u00eb t\u00eb b\u00ebjm\u00eb pjes\u00ebn ton\u00eb, q\u00eb \u00ebsht\u00eb mir\u00ebmbajtja e higjen\u00ebs s\u00eb duhur t\u00eb duarve dhe aplikimi i distancimit shoq\u00ebror, dhe p\u00ebr ata prej nesh q\u00eb munden, t\u00eb q\u00ebndrojn\u00eb n\u00eb sht\u00ebpi. WORLD WATER DAY 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n

Water and Climate Change and the All Hands On World Water Day campaign to help retain the Corona Virus (COVID-19) outbreak.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Across the globe every year, 22nd of March is celebrated as the World Water Day (WWD), declared by United Nations to draw attention to the importance of water. The theme of WWD 2020 is \u2018Water and Climate Change\u2019 and the aim is to show how the two are inextricably linked to each other.\u00a0 As we are all aware and experiencing, this WWD finds us all in an unusual and a most challenging situation, as we and the whole world is faced with the outbreak of the corona virus (COVID-19).<\/p>\n

SHUKALB has a longstanding history of celebrating WWD through different awareness building and public outreach events organized by water utilities across Albania.\u00a0 Activities in the past included distribution of awareness raising messages to customers, activities engaging school children to visit wastewater treatment facilities and learn about wastewater treatment, as well as water monitoring activities organized with 8th<\/sup> grade school children as part of SHUKALB\u2019s World Water Monitoring Challenge Program.\u00a0 All these activities have been cancelled this World Water Day, in the same way that UN has canceled or postponed many other World Water Day face-to-face activities.<\/p>\n

SHUKALB has in addition cancelled all the face-to-face activities such as trainings as well as meetings and workshops related to its current Projects for the rest of this month as well as for April, and will be rescheduling them at the most appropriate time, in line with instructions of the Albanian Government. SHUKALB strongly supports all the measures to retain the outbreak of the corona virus, and joins the call and guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO) that promote better hygiene as one of the measures to containing COVID-19. SHUKALB draws attention in specific to water and wastewater utilities, to follow the guidelines provided in the technical brief by WHO \u2018Water, Sanitation, Hygiene and Waste Management for the COVID-19 virus<\/a>\u2019.<\/p>\n

SHUKALB will be monitoring closely the evolving situation with the outbreak of COVID-19 in Albania, and is committed to bring relevant and helpful information to its members as well as the larger water community in Albania, through its social media as well as other communicating channels.<\/p>\n

Besides the doctors and the medical personnel who are the heroes of these days, on this WWD our thoughts and our gratitude go to the men and women who continue to work every day to provide our vital water supply and sewerage services. Your work is highly appreciated every day and in particular these days at this time of crisis.<\/p>\n

Lastly, SHUKALB supports the UN All Hands On World Water Day campaign to help retain the Corona Virus (COVID-19) outbreak.\u00a0 Let\u2019s not forget to do our very part, which is to maintain proper hand hygiene and apply social distancing, and for those of us who can, stay at home. World Water Day is an international observance and an opportunity to learn more about water related issues, be inspired to tell others and take action to make a difference. World Water Day dates back to the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development where an international observance for water was recommended. The United Nations General Assembly responded by designating 22 March 1993 as the first World Water Day. It has been held annually since then. Each year, UN-Water \u2014\u00a0the entity that coordinates the UN\u2019s work on water and sanitation \u2014\u00a0sets a theme for World Water Day corresponding to a current or future challenge. The engagement campaign is coordinated by one or several of the UN-Water Members with a related mandate.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Water Supply and Sewerage Association of Albania (SHUKALB), which was established in 2000, is a professional, not-for-profit Association of water supply and sewerage professionals, who wish to improve the management of the Water Supply and Sewerage Sector in Albania, making it efficient, sustainable and effective in accordance with the current laws and regulations in Albania.
