During 30 September, 1, 2 October 2020, SHUKALB delivered the first three days of the training on \u201cCapital Infrastructure Investment Projects in the Water Sector\u201d.\u00a0 The delivery of this training was organized in Tirana, at Grand Hotel, and it was broadcasted online to participants via Zoom platform.\u00a0 The aim of this training is to increase the capacities in municipalities and water utilities for carrying out complex infrastructure investment projects.<\/p>\n

The training was attended by around 45 participants involved in the implementation and monitoring of technical, legal and financial aspects of capital infrastructure investment projects and in charge of project implementation from the water utilities of Shkoder, Lezhe, Kukes, Kruje, Kamez, Durres, Elbasan, Cerrik, Peqin, Korce, Pogradec, Vlore, Gjirokaster, Sarande and the line Agency, AKUM.<\/p>\n

This training is organized in the framework of the project “Regional Capacity Development Network for Water and Sanitation Services (RCDN)\u201d according to the quality standards developed by RCDN. The participation on these trainings for the representatives of Public Utility Companies (PUCs) and National Agency of Water Supply, Sewerage and Waste Infrastructure (AKUM) was supported by the program \u201cCustomer and Performance Oriented Drinking Water and Sanitation Services\u201d, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development, implemented by GIZ in Albania.<\/p>\n
