N\u00eb p\u00ebrgjigje t\u00eb situat\u00ebs me pandemin\u00eb COVID-19, dhe duke konsideruar nevojat specifike dhe sfidat e shoq\u00ebrive uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebs kanalizime (UK) gjat\u00eb k\u00ebsaj periudhe t\u00eb v\u00ebshtir\u00eb, GIZ Fondi i Hapur Rajonal p\u00ebr Evrop\u00ebn Juglindore \u2013 Modernizimi i Sh\u00ebrbimeve Komunale (GIZ ORF MMS) n\u00eb bashk\u00ebpunim me Shoqat\u00ebn Uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebs Kanalizime t\u00eb Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb (SHUKALB), kan\u00eb p\u00ebrgatitur pako me dezinfektant\u00eb dhe pajisje mbrojt\u00ebse p\u00ebr disa nga shoq\u00ebrit\u00eb uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebs kanalizime n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri.<\/p>\n

Shp\u00ebrdarja e pakove u krye me data 20 dhe 23 N\u00ebntor 2020, p\u00ebr 19 shoq\u00ebrit\u00eb UK si Peqin, Cerrik, Elbasan, Sarande, Himare, Vlore, Gjirokaster, Korce, Pogradec, Maliq, Shkoder, Kukes, Kamez, Kruje, Kavaje, Lushnje, Berat-Kucov\u00eb, Gramsh dhe P\u00ebrmet pjes\u00eb e Projektit \u201cMenaxhimi i Integruar i Aseteve n\u00eb Shoq\u00ebrit\u00eb Uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebs Kanalizime t\u00eb Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb\u201d q\u00eb SHUKALB po zbanton q\u00eb prej muajit Mars 2019. Kjo \u00ebsht\u00eb nj\u00eb nisme rajonale e GIZ ORF MMS p\u00ebr Sh\u00ebrbimet Publike t\u00eb Ujit n\u00eb 6 vende te Ballkanit Per\u00ebndimore, p\u00ebrfshire k\u00ebtu dhe Shqip\u00ebrin\u00eb, me financim t\u00eb Ministris\u00eb Federale p\u00ebr Bashk\u00ebpunim Ekonomik dhe Zhvillim n\u00eb Gjermani (BMZ). Vlera totale kushtuar masave mbrojt\u00ebse n\u00eb p\u00ebrballimin e pandemis\u00eb COVID-19 \u00ebsht\u00eb 400,000 Euro, nga ku 200,000 Euro jan\u00eb v\u00ebn\u00eb n\u00eb dispozicion t\u00eb pakove me dezinfektante dhe pajisje mbrojt\u00ebse, p\u00ebr t\u00eb 6 shtetet.<\/p>\n

SHUKALB \u00ebsht\u00eb mir\u00ebnjoh\u00ebs q\u00eb ka nj\u00eb partner t\u00eb besuesh\u00ebm dhe afatgjat\u00eb si Shoq\u00ebria Gjermane p\u00ebr Bashk\u00ebpunim Nd\u00ebrkomb\u00ebtar (GIZ) dhe vler\u00ebson mb\u00ebshtetjen dhe bashk\u00ebpunimin me GIZ n\u00eb projekte dhe aktivitete t\u00eb ndryshme, p\u00ebr gati tashm\u00eb 20 vjet. Ne shpresojm\u00eb t\u00eb forcojm\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb marr\u00ebdh\u00ebnie n\u00eb aktivitetet tona t\u00eb cilat jan\u00eb n\u00eb vazhdim dhe ato n\u00eb t\u00eb ardhmen, dhe ve\u00e7an\u00ebrisht nd\u00ebrsa vazhdojm\u00eb zbatimin e Programit t\u00eb Menaxhimit t\u00eb Integruar t\u00eb Aseteve nga i cili po p\u00ebrfitojn\u00eb 19 shoq\u00ebri Uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebs Kanalizime n\u00eb t\u00eb gjith\u00eb Shqip\u00ebrin\u00eb. As a response to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, and considering the specific needs and challenges that Water Utilities are facing during this difficult period, GIZ Open Regional Fund for South-East Europe \u2013 Modernisation of Municipal Services (GIZ ORF MMS) in coordination with the Water Supply and Sewerage Association of Albania (SHUKALB), have prepared packages with disinfectants and protective equipment for some of the Water Utilities in Albania.<\/p>\n

The distribution of packages was conducted on 20 and 23 November 2020, for the 19 Water Utilities of Peqin, Cerrik, Elbasan, Saranda, Himare, Vlora, Gjirokaster, Korce, Pogradec, Maliq, Shkodra, Kukes, Kamez, Kruje, Kavaja, Lushnje, Berat-Kucov\u00eb, Gramsh and Permet, part of the \u201cIntegrated Asset Management in Water Utilities of Albania\u201d Project, implemented by SHUKALB since March 2019. Although the situation with the spread of the virus did not favor the organization of a ceremony for the distribution of packages, SHUKALB received many messages of appreciation from the managers of Water Utilities who recognized the donation of these very valuable materials for coping with the pandemic situation.<\/p>\n

The packages included alcohol, masks, gloves, visors, and protective clothing necessary and very essential to be used by the Utility staff working in their premises and on site. All the materials are certified by the World Health Organization.<\/p>\n

This is a regional initiative of GIZ ORF MMS for Public Water Services in 6 countries of the Western Balkans, including Albania, and it is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development in Germany (BMZ). The total value of this COVID-19 response measures is 400,000 Euros, while around 200,000 Euros is the value of the disinfectants and protection packages for the 6 Countries.<\/p>\n

SHUKALB is grateful to have a reliable and long term partner as the German Development Cooperation (GIZ), and appreciates the support and cooperation with GIZ in different projects and activities, for almost 20 years now.\u00a0 Petrit Tare, President of SHUKALB and General Director of Korca Water Supply and Sewerage Company said: “GIZ’s support has always been very valuable to the development of water and wastewater utilities in Albania.
