During last year, SHUKALB in partnership and with support from GIZ, in the framework of the project \u201cCustomer and Performance Oriented Drinking Water and Sanitation Services\u201d (implemented by GIZ), prepared three animated videos that address issues of drinking water and urban wastewater treatment, brought in a language understandable for 8th<\/sup> grade students. This work was done also in the framework of the long-term agreement that SHUKALB has with the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth, to raise awareness and educate on water related topics, students at different levels of the education system in Albania.<\/p>\n

The videos are suitable for the 8th<\/sup> grade students and they focus on explaining wastewater treatment processes, but also other aspects such as explaining the water bill, and sharing practical tips on water conservation. The short videos and the electronic booklet can be a great tool for the teachers as well to enrich their teaching experience on environmental related issues.<\/p>\n
