The WSP&amp;CM Program is implemented by SHUKALB in the framework of the Project \u201cProviding Support to Municipalities and Public Utilities Managing the Covid-19 Crisis in Albania\u201d, which is commissioned from the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and administratively embedded in the GIZ Project \u201cOpen Regional Fund for Southeast Europe \u2013 Modernization of Municipal Services (ORF MMS)\u201d.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4124\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4124\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/shukalb.al\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/WSP-in-Berat-Kucove-Water-Utility.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4124\" src=\"http:\/\/shukalb.al\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/WSP-in-Berat-Kucove-Water-Utility-300x225.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4124\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>The team of SHUKALB during the visit at Berat-Kucove Water Utility.<\/em><br \/><em>Photo Credit: SHUKALB<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The aim of these visits was to collect initial information about the water supply systems and other relevant information that will support the process of developing Water Safety and Crisis Management Plans by each water utility in the next phase.\u00a0 As part of these visits, SHUKALB team met with all the water utilities directors, as well as the respective technical staff. Invited to participate at the meetings were also representatives of the respective Local Governments, who were present in Belsh and Maliq.<\/p>\n<p>SHUKALB will continue this work in the upcoming weeks and as part of it will conduct more visits and trainings at each participating utility.
