{"id":4377,"date":"2021-07-07T11:12:15","date_gmt":"2021-07-07T11:12:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/shukalb.al\/?p=4377"},"modified":"2022-11-24T14:22:16","modified_gmt":"2022-11-24T13:22:16","slug":"english-new-investments-of-kamza-water-supply-and-sewerage-company-promise-significant-improvement-of-services-for-the-citizens-of-kamza","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shukalb.al\/?p=4377&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"New Investments of Kamza Water Supply and Sewerage Company Promise Significant Improvement of Services for the Citizens of Kamza"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4368\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4368\" style=\"width: 1299px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/shukalb.al\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/UK-Kamez_Office_Jul-21.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4368\" src=\"http:\/\/shukalb.al\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/UK-Kamez_Office_Jul-21.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1299\" height=\"635\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4368\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>New Administrative Building of Kamza WSSC<\/em><br \/><em>Photo Credit: Kamza WSSC<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The cooperation of Kamza Water Supply and Sewerage Company (Kamza WSSC), Kamza Municipality, and the German Development Bank (KFW), is bringing a series of large investments that aim to improve significantly the quality of water supply and sewerage services for the inhabitants of Kamza.\u00a0 Currently, Kamza WSSC is in the fourth phase of implementation of these investments, which include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Construction of the new Administrative Building for Kamza WSSC<\/li>\n<li>Rehabilitation of Old Bovilla Source<\/li>\n<li>Installation of SCADA system<\/li>\n<li>Extension of water supply network<\/li>\n<li>Wells Rehabilitation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The administrative building is an already completed investment and will be a multifunctional building. Every institution needs to identify with a building of its own, which leads to increased employee performance and improved customer service.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Ongoing projects:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><u>Extension of water supply network<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4367\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4367\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/shukalb.al\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/UK-Kamez_2_Jul-21.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4367\" src=\"http:\/\/shukalb.al\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/UK-Kamez_2_Jul-21-300x163.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"163\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4367\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>During the works for the extension of the new water supply network in Bathore, Kamza<\/em><br \/><em>Photo Credit: Kamza WSSC<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>This project will bring a significant improvement of the water supply in the Bathore area. The network will have a length of 64.9 km of water supply lines, 17.2 km of pipes for customer connections, and in addition it will add to the network 4,200 new customers.<\/p>\n<p>The rehabilitation of Valias Wells is also part of this investment. Based on the studies made and the needs of the Municipality of Kamza for water supply, it was deemed necessary to invest in two additional wells.\u00a0 According to the engineering operation, these wells will be put into operation in an alternate manner, in order to avoid possible breakdowns.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><u>Installation of SCADA system <\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4365\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4365\" style=\"width: 248px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/shukalb.al\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/UK-Kamez-3_Jul-21.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4365\" src=\"http:\/\/shukalb.al\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/UK-Kamez-3_Jul-21-248x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"248\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4365\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>Installation of new meters in the area of Bathore, Kamza<\/em><br \/><em>Photo Credit: Kamza WSSC<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Measuring, recording and data transmission equipment\/fittings will be installed at all pumping stations, reservoirs and in the water distribution network.
