The training was facilitated by Elia Pendavinji, the Commercial Director of Kor\u00e7a Water Supply and Sewerage Company and Pirro Cenko, Freelance Consultant.<\/p>\n<p>Participants took part in discussions on key water loss topics such as water loss context in Albania, water audit, administrative and technical losses, management of district metering areas (DMA), management and monitoring of NRW, pressure management and reduction of technical losses, water audit, water demand management, improving commercial efficiency, sustainable strategies for reducing water losses, water balance and raising awareness of strategy.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4502\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4502\" style=\"width: 1245px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/shukalb.al\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Water-Loss-Oct-21.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4502 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/shukalb.al\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Water-Loss-Oct-21.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1245\" height=\"750\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4502\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>Eng. Pirro Cenko, Freelance Consultant (standing) and the participants during the delivery of the 1st day of the \u201cWater Loss Management\u201d training course<\/em><br \/><em>Photo Credit: SHUKALB<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The training was considered very valuable by all participants for the knowledge shared, the discussions, as well as for the distributed software tools such as the WRAP which calculates and controls the possibility of pipeline rehabilitation and reduction of technical losses and MAT a simpler software which looks at the performance of the water utility in terms of strategic objectives to be achieved.
