{"id":4919,"date":"2022-07-08T12:09:44","date_gmt":"2022-07-08T12:09:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/shukalb.al\/?p=4919"},"modified":"2022-11-25T13:39:06","modified_gmt":"2022-11-25T12:39:06","slug":"thirrje-per-pjesemarrje-ne-programin-e-zhvillimit-te-kapaciteteve-me-teme-hyrje-ne-sistemet-e-kanalizimeve-dhe-ujerave-te-ndotura-per-menaxheret-dhe-inxhinieret","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shukalb.al\/?p=4919&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Call for Participation in the Capacity Development Program on &#8220;Introduction of Wastewater Systems for Managers and Engineers\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4916\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4916\" style=\"width: 1174px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/shukalb.al\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Durres-WWTP.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4916\" src=\"http:\/\/shukalb.al\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Durres-WWTP.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1174\" height=\"560\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4916\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>Wastewater Treatment Plant of Durres Water Supply and Sewerage Company.<\/em><br \/><em>Photo Credit: SHUKALB<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>SHUKALB has the pleasure to invite you to participate in the upcoming Capacity Development Program titled &#8220;Introduction of Wastewater Systems for managers and engineers\u201d which will be piloted for the first time in the framework of the Project Regional Capacity Development Network for Water and Sanitation Services (RCDN).<\/p>\n<p>The program consists of 3 trainings on the topics of regulatory, financing, technological and project management aspects of an infrastructure project, as well as one peer exchange, which will be organized during the months of September &#8211; November, 2022.\u00a0 The registration to the Program is now open!<\/p>\n<p>The program targets the water utility companies and LGUs that are in the stage of preparation\/design of infrastructure projects for sewage and wastewater treatment, especially managers and engineers, who are engaged with infrastructure capital investment projects, from:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Water Utility Companies: (1) Technical Manager; (2) Members of PIUs \/ PITs (3) Technical staff; Secondary: (4) Laboratory Staff (5) Customer Relations Department.<\/li>\n<li>Municipalities: (1) Department for communal affairs Department, (2) Department for investments, (3) Mayor&#8217;s office.<\/li>\n<li>The National Agency of Water Supply, Sewerage and Waste Infrastructure (AKUM): Specialists and coordinators.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The program aims for the participants to be able to take an active role during the planning and implementation of these projects. The specific objectives of this program are for the participants to be able to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interpret status of wastewater sector and legal and institutional wastewater framework at the national and LGU level.<\/li>\n<li>Explain different wastewater collection and treatment systems with an emphasis of the technical aspects and can define their importance.<\/li>\n<li>Understand the main elements of managing a sewage and wastewater treatment infrastructure project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The program is designed in accordance with RCDN Quality Standards, reflecting the most modern competence development methodology.
